The mafia have probably already consolidated all their information. Because we are limited to only our individual clues, mafia will solve the puzzle before us. This implies that town at some point will have to share information.

Mass claim to even the playing field? No. Not because it'll let the mafia solve the puzzle (they already have an advantage) but because there is no way to enforce the truth. Mafia can easily switch traits with their buddies and hopelessly confuse the entire town.

So far, all the mafia know are the house # and color of everyone non-mafia. This gives town a big, big advantage. Theoretically, all the blue roles can claim a night action publicly. Since mafia will have to follow traits, the best they can do is take a crap shoot into the entire town pool.
That is, if no one claims. So I strongly urge that no one claims anything to anyone (even PMs) at least for this day and the first night.

This doesn't mean I'm supporting all the blues outing themselves. If you are a blue DO NOT CLAIM because you think you are "anonymous". Let's first discuss blue policy because we have a lot of leeway in their protection even after they reveal.

Personally, I think the best solution is just the DT revealing himself after the night. He can't reveal any of his traits. In fact no one else should know anyone else's traits. We all mass claim to him in PMs. Feel free to try and help him with the clues. If his checks turn out scum, we lynch. If they turn out town, the DT can tell everyone this person is confirmed townie. And since no one knows the town's traits, he is relatively safe. The DT also then has someone to share his clues with. He'll have to sort through the mafia lies as best he can. This is the best way I see of countering the innate mafia advantage has in the puzzle solving department while also taking advantage of the "traits" mechanic.


One more thing of an unrelated note. Don't assume you know which houses are which # based on the layout. I asked.
