Del Potro serving. 2nd serve. Return from Federer into the net. 2nd serve. Federes return into the Del Potro forehand, who sends a winner cross court. 30-0 2nd serve. A short rally. Del Potro goes for a heavy forehand which Federer can't return. 40-0 Del Potro hits the ball long after Federers return of serve. 40-15 2nd serve. A medium long rally ends with Federer hitting the ball long. 13-12 Del Potro. | ||

Federer serving. A good return from Del potro puts Federer on the defensive. The rally ends with Federer putting an easy ball long. 0-15 Unreturned serve. 15-15 Another unreturned serve. 30-15 And an ace. 40-15 Federer comes to the net and finnish a point with an elegent backhand volley. 13-13 | ||

A short ball pulls Federer forward, but he hits an easy ball wide. 30-0 Ace 40-0 Great return from Federer puts him incharge. He finnish off the point with his next stroke, wrong footing Del Potro. 40-15 Unreturned serve. 14-13 Del Potro. | ||
