It's time for faker to retire...Khan's trying but Faker is so bad this series.

G2 did it!!!

Pretty underwhelming series tbh. SKT did not play well imo.
Faker severely underperformed the entire series.

What a shame SKT losing, at least now I'm happy I couldn't go to Paris for the finals

If you aren’t willing to take the 5v4 how do you win?

People were talking about Khan being the weak-link in this SKT line-up, and I don't want to admit it but I think it's Faker, at least in this playoff run

Wow, G2 actually did it. Absolutely incredible, I've never seen a team actually keep up with SKT in terms of both macro and team fighting, it was close but they pulled it off.

Feels like FPX is going to 3-0 just to put a lid on this EU hype.

Caps is fucking shaking in that interview, dude must be on the adrenaline rush of his lifetime.

While we can talk about Faker turning into Shaker we should also not forget Caps. Only player that played fantastic every single game. Not trying to be flashy but playing for the team. This has really been his tournament.

i wouldnt say faker is the weak link. he still brings too much to the team to say hes the weak link. he just doesnt dominate the laning phase like he used to.
support shows some weakness with effort throwing as much as he makes plays. mata also not good enough anymore.
teddy also sucked this series, probably nerves from it being his first worlds experience also. overall id say the team couldnt handle the pressure of being the only lck team left and the narrative of skt making a comeback in general

idk this series wasn't about him dominating laning phase. It was incorrect decisions in several teamfights.

Getting picked off in the Neeko game for example and then so many times this game.

In every game, SKT had an okay to good chance of winning if Faker played optimally. He just didn't.

Disagree, especially mid and late game faker wasn't on point. I mean just the last game shows that very much. And Teddy was perfectly fine, game 2 was pretty good? The team just didn't play well as a whole late, as said, if you're running away 5v4 the problem is that you don't know how to win the teamfights.

Faker felt forced to make big plays, just like in the good old days. Problem is teams like G2 and iG exist, who have mechanically gifted players on almost every single role and don't mess up very often. Perkz had so many great windwalls, and both sides dodged a lot of abilities which could have singlehandedly won fights -> game.

I don't think he played that poorly, if any of his plays had worked casters would all be screaming 'Faker has done it again' and 'best player of all time'.

you cant blame him for the neeko game tbh. the pick sucks in general and then he gets caught out once. the neeko pick put skt in a shit position to begin with so the game loss was more of a drafting issue than an in game issue.
the qiyana game was clearly faker just feeling the pressure of having to make a play. game 3 was efforts leona going full bronze in every fight after and including the fight he gets caught out at mid tier 1 for no reason. also we see here teddy uncharacteristically dive into a fight and throw also.

game 2 was the only good game pretty much. as said above, his game 3 kaisa made a bad play and also varus forward flashing to kill ornn and shit was stupid. his varus game in general wasnt that great; i was hoping theyd pick ez for him instead but they didnt
