4 big Regions looking a lot closer than was originally expected I mean, this is how Riot arranges groups every year to prevent people from drawing definitive conclusions, lol.

those groups tell us some of the situation but for example the 3 teams from eu/na have never played on this patch in real games. Some other teams could be much better than them we can't really know.

It might not show in Groups, but I wonder if we see coalescence around hard carries like this in the knockout bracket stage.

Finally got home
Dash is brilliant, hate the caster desk but at least the analysts are good today.
How were the first two games? Missed them, saw SKT and was fairly unimpressed with both teams, hopefully we'll see some more dominance from EDG now

C9 vs AHQ was quite snowbally, with AHQ's jungler having a lot of really bad Rengar ults.

Fnatic stomped IG so hard they surrendered, C9 beat AHQ convincingly

I wouldn't even call the AHQ game a "throw" because a TW team being unable to maintain a lead is already par for the course given past international competition. If a TW team isn't ahead at 10 minutes they aren't going to win because their mid-late play isn't that good.

they weren't winning... (based on comps sub 1k gold deficit is advantage c9 draft imo)

C9 also had a weak tank line- lee was it- making it an easy teamfight win for AHQ if they met on even terms. Mountain just forgot how to play rengar after that first gank and they just gave up turrets to trist and conga lined up to veigar.
