Right. And if TSM beats WE then NA>China>Korea?
Actaully NA is already better than Korea since both Korean teams didnt reach finals while an NA team did.
No. Because WE is still the worst LPL team so far and TSM is the best NA team. TSM wins doesn't prove anything.
WE was the worst LPL team with Ninja and Styz. The new WE is a different team, and has replaced its previously lackluster carries.
lol, no. WE is still trash.
Even the old WE was not complete trash. They did take games and even Bo2s off of top LPL teams. The new carries are obvious improvements over the old ones in their willingness to make plays and not just settle for mediocrity.
Mind you, I personally believe the main change was Korean competitiveness, and that had GE made it to the finals, they'd have also been exposed by TSM. I don't believe Bjergsen is going to lose to Xiye the way Kuro lost two games in a row, for example. The Korean decline is pretty obvious when you look at the performance of CJ and GE.
They were not complete trash but they were the last place out of 12 teams competing in the same league. And if you are trying to argue that they suddenly got a lot better swapping 2 players playing their first matches on international stage, you got another thing coming.
And no. I will bet on GE against TSM any day of the week. Azarkon you are being too predictable these days and sound very desperate/pathetic as well.
They obviously DID improve after swapping out Styz and Ninja, else they'd never have done it. The interview with WE also had them saying that they were confident vs. GE because they've been doing well in scrims with the new roster.
Did this improvement make WE a top 3 LPL team? No, and I didn't say that. I said that the new team > the old team and that we don't know where they actually place in the LPL with this roster. My money's on 5th-6th.

He finally runs out of salt it seems. You know that the world is mad when the biggest salt deposit in the world seems to deplete.
the ad hominems were real LOL
LCK will be back eventually but they need to fix all the holes left in their infrastructure, they'll be fine
Years of reading GGnet Dota built me up against Azarkon. I'm not saying he doesn't make sense today...just some bad experience.
Is it hard to start a new org in Korea? Why is it just mostly big chaebols behind those gaming teams?

The chaebols have the money to push/train big support staffs and players through, I'm sure smaller orgs/teams exist but they just can't really compete monetarily

Let's wait for them to actually avoid relegation before drawing any conclusions, seeing as even if they did magically become better, their current standing is too far behind to avoid relegation.
A season of rotting in LSPL means any improvement will be for nothing if they have to spend a season playing shit teams.

Smaller teams have just failed tbh, kespa teams tend to snatch up any talent that sticks out (RIP Xenics talent agency) while other attempts like anarchy and quvic (Firebathero's squad) just flat out collapse. Hard to catch up to what kespa can bring to the table.

What's wrong with RiotGamesLCS, RiotGamesLPL, RiotGamesOGN?
So what's actually worth watching in China? LPL seems like it's too many games that matter too little to assume that teams take it seriously, are the small tournaments better?
I mean, again, I hardly think the "one team per orga" rule is the decider, because if organizations really wanted second teams, they would have just followed the already-working Chinese loophole of making phony organizations to "sponsor" their 2nd teams.
Someone made a believable point at the time of the change that many sponsor organizations were just salty that Samsung was the only organization that had two consistently winning teams at the same time, so they probably just got on board to "level the playing field" against Samsung.

LPL, LSPL Playoffs are coming and Demacia Cup Ro8 soon.
Demacia Cup is weird, if you want upsets, you usually tune in there. In LSPL Playoffs you take a look at Ray's ADG and Swift's QG + Heart/Skatch VGP and WEFuture, also some people into Chinese LoL hype Legend Dragon.
LPL is cool, because even if you can't wake up in 6 am, you can still get Chinese VODs almost instantly.
G/G1 League is dead, Yango? Or do they have League still.

dont even need phony organizations. Just use Samsung eletrics and Samsung insurance or whatever

The whole point of having teams in the first place is to advertise samsung, skt, etc. There's no point in making a phony org without the branding of the original company.

I'm not sure about branding issues.
Comparing between Samsung Chemicals Galaxy White vs. Samsung Mobile Galaxy Yellow and Samsung Galaxy vs. a new organization called SNUSMAS eSports, I'll just take the safe way.

G-1's been dead for ages and didn't run League when it was alive. G-League happened end of 2014 (King placing 2nd fed into the King hype pre-LPL where everyone thought they were gonna be the new breakout team), they're not set for another season for a while.
