Cuz all the offseason sandbagging tournaments are really indistinguishable from one another lol.
I don't even remember how was that tournament called when LGD won over Gamtee to hype me up over latter team, lol. Then they died worse than King. >_<

I'd also recommend gamtee on the grounds that angelbeats will one day surpass cool mark my words. Shrc should be interesting to follow starting now, since they got namei. Will be good storyline to watch. Seriously though. Snake #1

Itd be surprising if SHRC didn't at least make the playoffs now that they've got namei.

No. Because WE is still the worst LPL team so far and TSM is the best NA team. TSM wins doesn't prove anything. WE was the worst LPL team with Ninja and Styz. The new WE is a different team, and has replaced its previously lackluster carries. lol, no. WE is still trash. Even the old WE was not complete trash. They did take games and even Bo2s off of top LPL teams. The new carries are obvious improvements over the old ones in their willingness to make plays and not just settle for mediocrity. Mind you, I personally believe the main change was Korean competitiveness, and that had GE made it to the finals, they'd have also been exposed by TSM. I don't believe Bjergsen is going to lose to Xiye the way Kuro lost two games in a row, for example. The Korean decline is pretty obvious when you look at the performance of CJ and GE. They were not complete trash but they were the last place out of 12 teams competing in the same league. And if you are trying to argue that they suddenly got a lot better swapping 2 players playing their first matches on international stage, you got another thing coming. And no. I will bet on GE against TSM any day of the week. Azarkon you are being too predictable these days and sound very desperate/pathetic as well. He finally runs out of salt it seems. You know that the world is mad when the biggest salt deposit in the world seems to deplete. the ad hominems were real LOL LCK will be back eventually but they need to fix all the holes left in their infrastructure, they'll be fine Years of reading GGnet Dota built me up against Azarkon. I'm not saying he doesn't make sense today...just some bad experience. Is it hard to start a new org in Korea? Why is it just mostly big chaebols behind those gaming teams? Smaller teams have just failed tbh, kespa teams tend to snatch up any talent that sticks out (RIP Xenics talent agency) while other attempts like anarchy and quvic (Firebathero's squad) just flat out collapse. Hard to catch up to what kespa can bring to the table. GE Tigers, as far as I know, is sponsored by a Chinese organization. Has that changed? The issue in the past was that while Champions used to be a 16 team tournament, you had around 8 companies that could essentially lock up 14 spots( SKT x2, KT x2, CJ x2, Najin x2, Samsung x2, Jin Air x2, IM x2) leaving smaller groups to fight over the leftover talent for 2 spots. Then they'd get knocked out of the tournament early and often disband or players with apptitude would get poached by the bigger companies.
With the crunch, there's still the same ratio of the Kespa teams but you have a bunch of the B class talent getting cut and suddenly available to be scooped up and fielded by somebody that was willing to give it a shot. That's how the GE tigers came about, pretty much.

Starhorn has sick storyline, they're going to LPL promotion tournament, rofl. To be fair, they're playing King tonight, if someone gets 2-0, loser will probably join our glorious bot-3 with xiaohu/Tale, Spirit and Raphael/Drizzle.

We need Korean entertainment companies to start esports divisions now. Team S.M., YG Gaming, JYP eSports would be hilarious.

Well playoffs is top 8 so it's super hard to not make playoffs for any of the reasonably good teams, but SHRC is doing a good job making it look possible.

Unfortunately OMG still has Gogoing/Loveling/Cool, iG has KaKAO/Rookie, WE has spirit and M3 has Looper, so that's already shitton of LPL to watch :p

Namei played well against gamtee, but that was a pretty shit series from GT. By far their worst since angelbeats joined, between that and going 1-1 with EP I'm getting scared ;_;
But uuuuh since this is the IEM thread not LPL thread... how about that Yuzhe guy huh. He sure did that thing with the champion.

yea I thought he got overshadowed by the new mid/ad, he was really doing well, especially he was their only bright spot vs. TSM

I would like to see both SHRC and WE in China playoffs, I am so happy for Spirit right now.

Watch LPL games. Top 3 strongest teams are EDG/OMG/Snake by a fair margin. Snake's games look most entertaining to me though.

I actually thought Mystic played pretty average. Xiye played out of his mind today. Was definitely the mid + jungle show for the most part. Support was on point, Aluka played alright. Hype is a bit overblown on these showings. GET just looked unprepared.

Mystic was very impressive in last 2 games and even in first, he and Yuzhe won laning phase.
Poor WE, playing LGD and OMG next week in LPL, rofl. Even if they win against TSM now, everyone will forget it in 4 days.

Reminds me of when KTB won IEM

LGD/Vici isn't terribly behind tbh.

As much as I dislike TSM, I kinda want to see them win just for Thorin's reaction.

The bracket structure for this is weird but I guess I get it.
