So more bad teams can hand around being punching bags while there is even less talent in the challenger scene? Yeah, let's make it so that the initial bad teams who were lucky enough to get into the LCS are slightly less bad than those unlucky enough to not be the original few in the LCS so they can continue being trash. That's essentially what I'm seeing out of all this. While an expansion may not help, at least the scene wouldn't grow stale, which it certainly is beginning to feel like.
Who were unlucky enough to get into LCS? Wolves who stomped their way to it? Millenium, who were best team in Europe for 8 weeks in Summer? There are no trash teams in LCS, there are some players who can be subbed, but in general they're best. And adding teams like Denial or C9E without k0u won't help the competition, it will just help getting wins to top dogs.

Not sure what you are talking about, quite a few of the "initial teams" have been removed/replaced by now. Frankly the promo series show that the system works, if your 8th place team is still strong enough to beat the "best" challenger team they deserve to play in the league. Remember how C9 stomped promos?
To be completely honest, C9 were predicted to be at least top-3 easy before Promotions by many. After Promotions, i was telling to friends that if this team beats TSM in Week 1, they will dominate. Then 25-3 occured, so it's not best case to use :D

C9 is a bit of a fluke. I mean... they were even more dominant in the scene than LMQ has been. Can't use them as the standard.

Just make LCS like OGN Champions and everyone will be happy.
I missed the roster swaps discussion - IMHO Unlimited is very good, I'm suprised someone said he should be replaced. The only roster change in EU I care about is new solo laners for CW, I'd still love to see Gambit with a different ADC but I doubt it'll happen, so let's see who'll find his fortune in NA. Well, I'd also love to see Creaton in Roccat (he played with some of them in in the past and their manager was his manager in CRS.eu and earlier Millenium lineup), but Roccat is probably not looking for roster changes after a good split and neither is Creaton after re-qualifying.

i am so hyped for todays lmq vs xdg

It will be a very interesting day if ether XDG or LMQ win.

The Promotions being one Bo5 for each team is a bit jarring and sometimes lead to unfortunate situations. There can be argument for making the overall margin of error larger by making it a 6 team double-elim thing in which
LCS 7 v Challenger 1 LCS 6 v Challenger 2
is the upper bracket
and LCS 8 v Challenger 3
leads to the lower bracket, with the top 3 teams advancing
