this skt 2 team supposedly relies on the top lane to dictate the game. easyhoon plays pretty safe and farms well, kinda like what impact's role on skt 1 is. would be interesting to see whether s4 changes will make top lane more of a play making position rather than simply split pushing. the two skt teams have different areas of strength and at least one should be good to go after the change.
I don't think there are any other options right now. Couldn't think of any pro player that would be available to cast, besides Maknoon maybe (now that he is on Frost and doesn't have to play the qualifier). Lastshadow was doing quite a lot (and very good) analytical commentary on his stream, but that was before Hearthstone came out, lol.

you didnt miss much of the skt2 games. 40 minute game time total but each one really ended before 5 minutes. apdo vs ctu was was ok but nothing special. the best player in that series was "it now" with some nice ezrael play.
They should just call them SKT T2 already! It's so intuitive, just look at what is being google-searched. T2 is at 4th place already. Of course it would probably not be very practical with their team logo.

It's causing quite some confusion on leaguepedia, because now Faker's team has all the results from Reapered's team in their record, from before they got cut (which is partly a worse record, because Faker's team got 3rd in Spring, but they now got attributed Reapered's 5th-8th finish, which replaced their 3rd place finish). Which will mean Marin's team will have all the pre-summer results from Faker's team in their record, which is only a single Spring 3rd finish though.
Somewhat of a clusterfuck, because for someone new who wants to inform himself about the team it will now look like Faker and his boys got knocked out 0-3 by Blaze in Champions Spring in the RO8, when in reality they finished 3rd by stomping Frost 3-0.

Well according to what I read, Riot Korea has said pretty much that "The rule currently is that summoners are only prevented from playing in tournaments during the time of their ban. Since apdo and team served their ban, they are not prevented from participating."
Riot Korea also said, however, that they're discussing (T/N I think internally and with partners) a set of rules regarding incidents like the Monster Gaming elo boost incident, and that they will announce it in the near future.
Needless to say, this is a controversy among Korean netizens right now.

Riris had a good lane but he really front line adc'd too many times, it was pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things as kuro was shit stomping everyone before that point but I just found it amusing. I don't blame him, there's very little recourse for a giant syndra as the ADC.
Riris always does that. If his team wins their lanes, he'll snowball and crush face. If shit goes wrong, he goes solo queue mode, tries to make plays in the front line and dies instantly. That's why he was so good in the first few rounds of Champions Summer but completely fell apart against Blaze in the tiebreak and was awful against Ozone in the quarters.
RooKie looking a lot more comfortable this game, guess nerves played a big factor in the first game. Also, its funny that IM#2 seems to have the opposite problem of IM#1, can't lane, but can team fight.

he played pretty ok for the last 2 games. it's just that the long range syndra stun was pretty good at catching the poke siege comp kta was running. when your nidalee is off to the side firing spears, the other guys have to not get caught
also kt's jungler didn't do anything but facecheck and fail gank all day
Oh man, at first I was very sad that the Arrows didn't make it, but now I actually realize how important it may be for IM to have at least one team in Champions this season. Just imagine if both of their teams didn't make it this time, it would probably be devastating for the organization.
Maybe IM#2 can manage to bring in some more money, or make their existing sponsors pay them a bit more at least.
Yeah I'd say so too. Obviously no one can come close to the full rainbro combo, but Chobra is doing a really fine job. You can tell that he has gotten very good on air by working so much for the Korean broadcast of OGN.
Group A: Both SKT T1 #2 and Blaze will advance, not sure who will win group since New Blaze looks rly good, don't think the new SKT has enough xp to get out Group B: Blue then Sword Group C: Shield then Ozone Group D: Frost then Reapered will somehow make it out of groups like he always does then proceed to get 3-0d in the next round

I haven't. I still believe KT B has a great team, but its been almost 2 months since there last competitive match. In that time just about every team has shifted something around. This is what I really dislike about the system in place right now. If you don't go to worlds your basically sitting around doing nothing from September-November. Then of course there's the whole weeks-month break for Christmas and new years that basically separates winter into two stages. Throw season 4 into the mix and its a whole new tournament come 2014.
I really think the next time we see KT Arrows and IM #1 they will be completely different teams. They have nothing to do but practice and hold try outs until March 2014.
Groups look crazy, as usual. Groups A & B are killer while C & D will have skaters. I doubt we will get to see if Ozone can come up with something other than stepping on the backs of amateur teams. Cannot wait for Flame vs Marin though. can we get a FPV cam this season?
Group A/B are some crazy draws. I like 3 of the teams in group A and all the teams in B. The agony of Longpanda will continue! Rooting for Team Dark in C though they need to work on a lot of things; I hope they and Shield make it through in there as well. Frost has a nice and easy time in D and Stealths will probably go through also.

probably be played on season 3 last patch the whole season, unless Riot puts the pre-season patches on the tournament realm, which I believe they didn't do last year. i wanna say last years winter season was played on the last season 2 patch.
Probably the best thing for the competitive integrity of the tournament, because the preseason patch will most likely have quite a bit of broken things in the beginning, which would make the tournament very volatile.
