Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.
Fair warning to all. |

as a result anivia got egged very early in the fight and got very few ticks of her ult off, imo that would have made the difference - if TPA could maintain that advantage i think they could continue to win teamfights if they chose locations better (slightly more contained teamfight areas, where anivia and vayne excel) Everyone on TPA made huge mistakes in the first game, but Bebe was the most glaring IMO. Questionable item build and target firing. I was really really surprised he went for IE and a second zeal when the enemy were full of divers who would like nothing better than to get into your face. Also interesting that Shy didn't pick Irelia other than the first game. He must not be confident on it. Really? I personally thought Toyz played the worst in that game. He was atrociously positioned in basically every single fight but one. He would get egged or outright killed at the beginning of every fight that game and honestly that was what really caused them to lose imo. Bebe with his questionable item build didn't help, but by the time he was building his second PD the game was already tilted in AZF's favor pretty heavily since Rapidstar pressing R did like 40~50% of TPA's carries' hp. It's really both in my opinion. If either one didn't happen then the game would have happened much differently.

:o I've been trying repeatedly and just now was the first time I got anything but «could not connect to the server» -- namely «The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable».

Gratz to TPA.
They really outplayed Frost in the lane and early game every single game.

there's no way to outpick tpa it seems. their players are just too good with too many champs. i dont think that TPA has too wide of a champion pool on many of their players (that can be played at a competitive level) except for perhaps stanley - toyz in particular seems most comfortable picking orianna, anivia, karthus [morgana, not seen in this tourney] (in that order) but wasting 3 bans on any given player leaves too many options open to the enemy team to pick around
they have one of the widest champion pools i've seen in any pro team
toyz plays ori/karthus/morgana/anivia. morgana in particular is his 'main' but as you can see his ori / karthus also destroys worlds
stanley really likes his nid but he plays almost every top lane champ
bebe plays all ADs
mistake plays all supports, minus wonky ones like zyra (not to say that he doesn't play them, i just haven't seen him play them)
lilballz is the only one you could possibly label 'limited'. he prefers udyr, alis, mundo, skarner but i doubt he would be severely gimped if you tried to ban him out.

They're probably goign to credit people's account with it bit by bit so they don't explode their servers the same way the redeem website exploded.

Purely based off of my limited experience watching TPA, I don't think TPA has a "wide" champion pool necessarily, but it's more that they are extremely proficient at enough champions that it's impossible to ban them out with only 3 bans.
I mean, just based on the stuff they played this tourney: Toyz has Oriana, Karthus, Anivia Stanley has Jayce, Nidalee, Shen Bebe has Vayne, Kog, Cait, Ezreal Mistake has all popular supports minus Zyra and Lux Lilballz has Mundo, Maokai (I guess there's Udyr but he kinda failed that game)
Banning out more than 1-2 supports or ad carries simply isn't a good pick/ban strategy since top/mid lanes have more abusive champs and the nature of the AD/Support lane allows for a very large level of flexibility and is less punishing for "bad" matchups. Lilballz successful champion pool this tournament is kinda limited, but it's simply not worth banning him out. Why? Because of Toyz and Stanley. Even then, those two play enough champions that it's impossible to ban them out completely without totally screwing over your pick/ban phase.

Just because we saw repeated picks, doesn't mean there is a limited champ pool from the team. Considering how well bebe played vayne, and kog (arguably the 2 worst laning AD's) I'm sure he can play any fucking AD carry he wants, and stomp shit with it.
As far as Toyz is concerned, he showed very high level of skill with anivia/ori/karthus, I wouldn't be surprised if his other ap carries were at that level as well. The ori pick was probably more out of team comp, than out of lack of champion pool.
Lilballz mundo was so good, but I could totally see him playing high level chogath jungle, especially considering how good his maokai jungle was as well. Considering lillballz's style, mundo definitely fit him like a glove.
mistake was just boss with all the supports, except when he wiffed sona ultis.
stanley just seems unbannable, so long as lilballz is the jungler. their synergy was ridiculously good. also all those shen picks also seemed to be out of team necessity, not necessarily out of lack of champion pool.

I'm glad that TPA won. Their play style is pretty cool but I'm worried that they might falter if other teams catch up to their lane strength/early game.
