Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance. Fair warning to all.

For attendee we got a refund on our ticket, 25 dollar in rp, a choice of a hat teemo/ninja rammus/rammus, and the championship riven So you basically got to watch two games of pro matches, a few matches today, and various free swag all for free. Not a bad deal. Obviously still disappointing that you don't get to be at the semi-finals live though. Or were the tickets day-by-day? I was under the impression they were three day passes.

But regardless of what they should have done, it's really just plain bad luck that things worked out this horribly wrong. Really hoping that they'll produce the finals at a much higher level (now that they have more game content and a ton of experience and feedback) and get an event that at least rivals the Internaional 2

I think they weren't expecting that many people on stream, i think they were aiming @ 300k It'll be in the store during finals. Everyone who watches the finals will also get a code to redeem. So essentially everyone who watches it and/or gets the code off sites like reddit or TL will get the Riven skin for free.

They've been under some extreme pressure given how well the International 2 went off and I think went too fast trying to "outdo" it in every way. Some more of the prize money definitely should have been put into production expenses and more consulting with companies like OGN and MLG or some Hollywood showmen about how do events without a hitch. While there were definitely complaints about not getting content patches leading up to, and after the event, in light of what happened here, going that extra step definitely paid off for Valve. All told, I don't think getting Kha'zix patch out the door a week before this was worth sacrificing any quality on this event.

The actual skin is buyable, or free if you went in person.

i cant believe noone at riot sat himself into a competitioners pc and tried out how easy it would be to get information from the broadcast. (looks like they just need to look sideways to see the minimap over the other team) And stop using riot employees at every event, this seriously stops commentator talent to develop.

Amazed Riot can't just contact someone in OGN and get them to help? They never wanted soundproof booth because then the teams are isolated from the crowd. I dont mind that there is no soundproof booths, but was I mind is that they can peak behind their back and see the screen. In addition the Headsets should cancel to 100% outside noises. If you dont have booth you should eliminate that possibility.
