Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.
Fair warning to all. |

I must admit the stage looked quite silly, the way the screens were orientated made easier for players to look at their side and take a little sight on what happened

It'd be too harsh to penalize players for this, although you'd hope they have more sportsmanship than to look up at the screen behind them, huehue.
I doubt that glimpse at the screen is ever enough to change the outcome of anything.
TL;DR: Booths solve everything

You pretty much can't penalize for something that a) is enabled by Riot's setup, and b) is not listed as being penalize-able in the rules. For all we know, every team may have been doing this in some capacity since day 1 (I expect this was the case). Penalizing one team without any prior ruling is unfair to that team.

its pretty big deal to see where the enemy team is during an invade
riot is dum for stage design
edit- also lol at "good joke TSM" comment. did you watch the rest of the video to see what chaox said about the games? you imply like he's saying that azubu won because they looked at the screen

TL;DR: Booths solve everything There's no denial on the booths part, but on the azubu match, it was quite important for frost to know on the first minutes of the fight, as chaox stated, their "move" was to take a early lead (that statement made me giggle a bit too much but hey, it was their plan), the one from WE vs CLG.eu was a bit more obvious, definately they need booths, it was amazingly stupid how casters kept motivating people to "chant louder so players could hear you through our soundproof headphones HUEHUE"...

You kind of expect players to not play dirty, and you know when you play dirty, sniping (ghosting) is really bad seen in the sc2 community, i don't see why wouldn't this be the case.

The screens are 3 min delay anyway, aren't they?

TL;DR: Booths solve everything I thought Korean teams would be more respectful towards Esports than to pull that shit Q_Q
|
so was this like legit corporate espionage or are dota fans really that mad?
|
Oh shake, I am sorry but no the Koreans awesome they may be can be just as willing to cheat, seek advantage and otherwise force outcomes that wouldn't happen. Then again re-reading perhaps you are being sarcastic..I don't know.
At least no one rigged the map so that the more popular team would win.
|
no, it was live, the players could take a peek by looking to the side and also be alarmed when the crowd was loud.
But you cant tell if someone is intentionally looking at the minimap or of he is just looking in the general direction, its in plain view. Its like my little brother playing cards with me and holding them in a way that if i want to look at my beer, i see them.

I dunno, those coins seemed pretty rigged against Clg.na

So, I'm back home after a long night of casting ! I hoped everybody here who watched the French stream enjoyed it, and that you heard my shoutout to TL I would really love if anybody could provide feedback on my casting, it was on of the first times I had the occasion to cast live LoL games, and that was a pretty big first time >>
I was the guy with the «REPENT AND SIN NO MORE» T-shirt, in case you wonder ^_^
|
CLG.eu was blue team that game. If WE didn't look at the minimap it would have been an unfair advantage for CLG!! :O We wouldn't want that, right?

Sadly I don't speak French but I did tune in and I did enjoy it. You guys did amazing keeping us entertained during all the downtime. Much better then any of the other casters from what I saw and I didn't even understand most of it. So in that department you and everyone else did fantastic.
I do wish I could comment more on the actual casting but alas a language barrier prevents me from such.

maybe clg.eu learned all the strategies for pruple so that clg as a whole is complete.
i can only understand very little french since i had latin in school instead, so cant comment on that too much, but it sure looked fun.

It was 5AM for me when the re-game between CLG.eu vs WE finished. So I went to sleep. Could you guys please summarize what happen after that for me? I've read the last few pages of this thread and I am confusing. Is this because of the internet or something the player did that force Riot to postpone the game?

More DCs, more re-games, game 3 still yet to actually be conclusively finished.
Basically you didn't miss anything worth watching.
