Now I wonder if they just considered it or if there was an actual agreement, because if there was I would be rather surprised if they don't get at least a temporary ban from tournaments, including regionals and worlds.

They need to issue a revised statement, containing at least some of the information from Adam's Tweets, so they can make it clear that this was indisputably the right decision.

CRS/DIG conspired to split prize money. http://mlg.to/SFulSk @MLG Lee: We are. Dozens of witnesses “@contagioned: @MLGLee i don't at all disagree with the decision, i just hope that you guys are positive of it.” That's like saying that breaking into a person's house has nothing to do with conspiring to break into a person's house and steal their shit. The ARAM was a part of the execution of of one half (the "collusion" part) of the crime. It didn't cause the punishment alone - it was obvious evidence of them not actually playing the game competitively. Quite related.

Just a technical point but Curse and Dignitas didn't break any part of the rule they quoted in the first statement we got : “competitors may not intentionally Forfeit a Game or conspire to manipulate Rankings or Brackets.” But splitting prize money is so against the spirit of this rule that I agree with MLG.

MLG was even boasting on Twitter about the "must-watch exciting ARAM finals". It wasn't about the aram. They were DQ because of prize splitting.

Do you think that Dignitas went up to the admins "wayy" before the game and said "Hey, we've agreed to not play a real competitive game for your finals. We're going to BS around instead. Sound good?" More importantly why in god's name would you think that the last 4 games of the tournament were elaborate "mock games" intending curse to win, and the ARAM was not the issue? Have you heard of Occam's razor? Use it. They OVERHEARD them. My Occam's razor is a Fusion Power.

Generally you split up your team to each lane and the jungle, but in ARAM, both teams sent their 5v5 lineup down mid lane . Stands for All Random All Mid. (really general explanation)

The players let the game mode randomly choose the champions for them and they only play in 1 lane. Think of it like playing a monobattle for the SC2 grand finals where the computer chooses which unit you get to make.

What people do with prize money is up to them. I don't see how these teams are in the wrong. o, aram. i get it now. Yeah that is pretty bad actually. yeah i would dq them also MLG has DQed people before for prize splitting.
