At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012

Really hard for colorblind people like me. The graphics were the #1 reasons I moved from HoN to LoL.

Crs is too unpredictable to say that.

Couldn't get the quart/semi/finals cause I didn't under the format but the bracket's shot anyway. Also Fnatic/TSM .. =X heads are going to be changing after this one =S On March 01 2012 21:00 l3ird wrote: CLG.EU was made super late in the process of the whole IEM 2011 season that is why they didn't qualify for IEM World Championships. So my prediction out of Kiev was that M5 would win Kiev but TSM would win IEM Hanover. So... Just saying it again IEM Hanover is TSM's too lose; they really have to prove themselves this time. Group A - CLG.na, Digi (found out WE isn't going), Fnatic Group B - TSM, M5, SK How does it go after group stage? is it a bye for two and then rego? M5 over Fnatic SK over Digi TSM over M5 CLG.na over SK M5 over SK for 3rd place TSM over CLG.NA 1st place If it's like a bye system.. that i'm currently not understanding; I hope i'm right but i'm like 65% confident on this one.

The problem with TSM is TRM, and not because of his play. Its because of his "picks" and I use that term loosely. I know it has been mentioned multiple times but nobody ever went in depth about it. 4 of 5 games today he went Irelia. They lost all of them except when he got a favorable matchup. The only time he didn't pick Irelia was when she was banned. What does this tell you're opponent? Before picks and bans, they have to decide on a team comp with synergy that can also cripple Irelia. Immediately going into it, barring dropping it like Kiev finals game2, the other team is essentially in a 5v4.5. The only way TSM can try to combat this is go "solo queue" and pick their best champs. This issue cascades into problems in jungle and mid. TOO plays a lot of supportive junglers most of the time. He is always on the back foot of an engagement in the jungle. Because TRM is constantly behind with his instIrelia he can't help TOO and TOO loses control of his jungle. Regi likes to play a lot of super aggressive, blue reliant champions(LB, Ziggs, Cassio, ahri). But since TOO can't control his jungle, blue isn't consistantly there for Regi. In the end, TRM is crippled and has little to no effect in teamfights. TOO is underleveled from getting buffs stolen and needs to farm hard to keep up, forsaking the lanes, and Regi doesn't have the tools he needs to assert dominance in lane. How could they solve this? While not changing how they play, they all need to broaden their play. TRM can play a lot of champions, we know this, but he has to start doing it. His pick is too predictable. A batter will hit a fast ball a hell of a lot more often if they know it's coming. If they have to worry about a curveball, you miss the fastball more. TOO needs to play more independent junglers. He needs to be able to backhand people in his jungle and say GTFO if their team comp needs it. Regi needs to play more champions that don't rely on blue/don't use mana. He shouldn't be crippled for 5 minutes because blue got swiped. Until then, TSM is regulated to "soloqueue comp." TRM is the lynchpin.

TOO is an incredibly weak jungler both in terms of the champs he plays and the way he plays them. You can try to blame TRM for not picking stronger top lanes, but then again, you could also point at TOO for not playing stronger jungles either (or even playing them well when he DOES get them).

TRM's weak too, but I agree with T_D here, TOO deserves a lot of the blame that all seems to be getting dumped on TRM.

He shouldn't be crippled for 5 minutes because blue got swiped. Until then, TSM is regulated to "soloqueue comp." TRM is the lynchpin. It's not entirely TRM's fault at this point. I found it hilarious how the casters were like "NOBODY SAW THIS COMI-" anyone who were keeping track of the teams, knew their stuff and were super eager for Hannover saw this coming. TSM has quite a few problems to clean up. TRM - generally not dominant in any form, if your top lane is not a threat at the competitive level (eg. darien / voyboy) you lose plenty of options in play choices. Though not very obvious, I also feel like the moment he gets behind, his mental state is totally destroyed and he doesn't see anyway for himself to comeback, which is like so detrimental to a solo lane. TOO - way too passive, has no map pressure / presence at all. Even support jungles can have a good level of pressure. He's totally predictable, you can't even imagine him making plays that SV/Snoopeh/Linak does, or super aggresive jungling like diamondpr0x (but this is more a team thing than a player thing.) Regi - No, and I mean zero, discipline. It's not bad to be aggressive, not necessarily bad to be over-aggressive too, as long as you keep it, and it keeps you, unpredictable. Regi's lane is like a total gamble, with the odds progressively being further and further against him as the level of competition gets higher. As a team - No direction at all, they have a general game plan at the start of the game, but that's it. Their team plays have little to absolutely no coordination (which is damned ironic for a team living together). Eg. in CLG.na SV, Hotshot and Chauster are always actively making calls (even if it conflicts they have enough experience as a team to resolve it well.) CLG.eu does this even better imo, everyone on the team has enough game sense & confidence to make calls and resolve them immediately it really is wonderful to listen to. TSM only has Regi and an incredibly unconfident oddone making calls and SOMETIMES Chaox. It's quite a lot more than just this which is difficult to put into words, but the general idea is that they are a team with no structure.

The champs he plays? He played Maokai, Lee Sin, Udyr, and Shen today. His playstyle aside, all of those are excellent junglers except possibly Shen (Lee Sin I'll give you depends on your feelings on the hero and your playstyle but plenty of people play him effectively).
