At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected")
At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament.

It would be great if you could pull the interviews that you typed down into the OP. I'd love to be able to refer back to specific boasts
What a great day this turned out to be! Tomorrow I'm casting SK vs M5 with Phreak, and then Dignitas hiev big against TSM. I predict bloodshed.
I'll do that. It should be simple enough since I can just search for one person's posts and copy/paste from there.

decent games today, compared to the 50 minutes turtle battles that were decided by messing up at baron area, the tournament gameplay has evolved quite a bit.
I can't watch live so I read this thread while at work and then watch what I asume is the rebroadcast when I go home. Really excited about the games tomorrow :D
I have to say, Genja's positioning has been superb, especially (or because of) being on escape-less Kog - he knew exactly what range he could safely DPS or poke from, both with regard to the opponent's engages and his team's peels (even the availability of, say, Blood Boil) - in that last game, I don't believe Skarner got a single ult off on him (only on, er, Lee Sin/Irelia/Sona IIRC). Gosu Pepper playing Sona with a Ali/Leona mindset probably helped, too.
holy shit, watching restream and this russian team is fucking crazy, they're like insane computers how they all move from objective to objective at the same time and snipe people over walls.
