[IEM] Kiev Discussion - Page 87
Forum Index > LoL Tournaments |
At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected") At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 20.1.2012

Since Riot has the postgame scoreboard posted on their IEM Kiev website, you can collect a lot more stats - like avg cs/game, avg gold/game, K/D/A ratio, etc. It could be interesting to see if teams have different stats for wins and losses, but the sample size is too small (and some teams never won a game -.-)

Pick/Bans offer a good sample of what is fotm and what is seen as generally good. PS : just look at Cassio. 1 ban 0 pick at MLG Providence, to me it's an interesting stat, meaning a lot of teams just don't have a good Cassio.

Bans and picks are a really good indication, probably win% would help too maybe, because there are cases like janna, who are picked a lot and often lose.

M5 and SK will play in the semifinal game and therefore can't be 1 and 2, but they played in different groups. First place of Group B (M5) plays second place of Group A (SK). The same thing is true for third and fourth naturally. Had SK won group A instead of TSM then your results would be possible.

The third-place match is 5 AM EST, though.
