At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected") At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 20.1.2012

(Jatt leaving, school) and ofc not having Locicero more often. This is why I don't take CLG seriously. I don't care if they are widely regarded as the best team in the world by a lot of people. With a mentality like that, it's not going to last long. LoL is still in its infancy as far as competitive gaming is concerned, and they will to go through so many phases to come. Acting like they are always in the know and don't have any leaks. It's amazing. It's like everything they say that act like people should take it and carve it in stone. Reginald's reply might be a little more harsh than it needs to be but I feel it was warranted. That's what a good leader does. He doesn't let the hard work of his people get thrown to the waste side in such public manner. The relationship between TSM and CLG is strange, but I'm glad Reginald spoke up for his team. TL:DR Saint: HAI GAIZ I'm gonna write an entire paragraph about how tsm and m5 are amateurs but excuse our loss like we should've won but didn't take it seriously.

The epic Cass vs Galio fights at mid was also ridiculous. The jukes / counter jukes was like wtfgtfohere I was actually thinking about quitting LoL, but this tournament got me excited enough to get back into it.

There isn't enough action or variation to keep it interesting for me and I'm a huge fan of the game. There aren't enough options that the players can explore and the skill ceiling is so low that there isn't any spectacular display of skill as there is in Starcraft. My 0.02 actually I think it is the opposite. Because the skill ceiling is high and there are no comeback mechanics, the game is basically designed for boring early rounds in tournaments.

TL:DR Saint: HAI GAIZ I'm gonna write an entire paragraph about how tsm and m5 are amateurs but excuse our loss like we should've won but didn't take it seriously. Dignitas had people saying that they were the greatest team of all time. People were saying that they were changing the way people played LoL, just like M5 is doing now. Turns out all of that was wrong and even before Jatt left they started slumping (although to be fair they were practicing less). I don't think his comment that Dignitas was way overhyped is wrong, although calling them a one-hit wonder might be a bit unfair. I took SV's reddit thread as a response from one of, if not the, best jungler's in the world as to why he thought that really aggressive style of counter-jungling that M5 did was flawed. And frankly, he was correct. TSM and CLG just have that big rivalry where they always need to one up each other. And to be fair, CLG said in his own thread that his team has a ton of weaknesses. I also think your tl;dr was kind of weird. I don't think saint was calling either team bad just trying to curb some of the hype that M5 is getting right now. Had TSM simply banned Shyvana those games could've gone completely different and I personally think that TSM is way stronger than M5.

And how do you get some kind "friendly rivalry" out of that post? It is sheer team bashing. eh.... aggressive counter-jungling takes advantage of weak junglers and weak lane picks. Moscow 5 took advantage of rain mans weak top lane performance/picks as well as oddones poor adaptability. I was really disappointed in how oddone played and I thought he would adapt better [o'rly you are so much better than oddone the padawan that you understand him so well okai]. Moscow 5 knows how to group and plays well in that sense but I think the aggressive counter jungling strat is extremely flawed and would not work against a solid jungler/top lane. CLG EU has shown this with their consistant wins vs moscow 5 in scrims. Also Xpecial said Saint changed his post to take out the most questionnable stuff. Read the rest of his AMA on Reddit where he continues to bash TSM. He even discussed TSM's desire to play on EU servers. Something to the effect "they lost every scrim to NA teams before kiev, so it makes me think the reasons for doing this something else other than to practice against EU teams." What a joke. Oh yeah, TSM the team that moved into a gaming house to being a progamer more seriously is going to play on EU servers to shy away from NA teams, the best in the world, despite both NA teams losing in international tourneys. Kai kai. Of course, I don't even know why I expect Saint or anyone on CLG to be classy.

I know watch almost exclusively TSM and the only time I even heard TSM talk about CLG was during the Elementz benching. And all Regi said was "if it was my team, I'd rather work with him instead." Nothing as offensive as this. If TSM talks trash about CLG in such fashion, I missed it -- then I'm wrong. And how do you get some kind "friendly rivalry" out of that post? It is sheer team bashing. Aaaand saint outjungles OddOne consistently in tournaments and scrims. So yeah, I think it's fine that he talks as if he's better than OddOne because he is. The rest of your post is just personal speculation. I read his original post, it really wasn't that bad and I didn't read it as a dig against TSM at all. Jatt evaluated some of the games and gave predictions, during his evaluations he said things like, "Voyboy historically crushes TRM in lane," and he says that Reginald "makes some absolutely horrendous decisions from time to time." These evaluations were on the front page of reddit and yet Regi, Xpecial, and others feel no need to stir up a bunch of drama even though it's waaay more critical of TSM than what saint said. And Jatt's analysis was just speculation based on what he had seen in the past when he was on Dignitas, saint's was an analysis of what actually happened in the game (as in, OddOne didn't adapt and TRM did lose his lane). Reginald, Xpecial, and the rest of TSM know what they're doing when they stir shit up with CLG. It's happened dozens of times and neither team has clean hands. I reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy don't think saint meant it the way Regi and Xpecial took it, he was just trying to curb the hype of "omgz new meta for jungle!!!1" For what it's worth, I'll own up to being a jiji/Chauster fanboy. I don't like Hotshot or saint that much. They just rub me the wrong way. Just sayin, TSM and CLG pull shit like this all the time. The drama between these two teams is worse than Jersey Shore.

We've already gone over this in PM months ago so I'm not going to do it again. Like in those PMs you have an excuse for every underhanded thing CLG does, even with the whole Lapaka/MLG Providence situation so there's really no point.

Fyi, no one on that reddit thread said anything to indicate that they felt saint was dissing TSM. No one felt like saint was stepping over the line. It wasn't until nearly four hours later that Xpecial posted and people started viewing it as some under handed diss to TSM.

As much as you guys would like to go back and forth on this issue, it's pretty off topic. Go ask Neo if you guys can create fan clubs or something since I'm sure he wouldn't want it in GD either.

CLG tries to cheat and you think it's ok. Of course you wouldn't find anything wrong with this. Jatt provided an analysis of everything that was going on. Good and bad. Not just "trololol I'm saint numba won jungla CLG eu our new bitches even own m5; tsm so nub gg no re -_- oh by da way CLG tried to play tournament like scrim so lost but it's kai cause we still da best"

I think the overall flexibility speaks here and how tiny advantages snowball in a sona lane, because she can apply pressure no matter the lane position. Indeed. Sona is currently the best because she does everything well. She pokes better than any of the other supports, has good sustain, good utility with a 40% slow and an AoE stun. She's good if you have to sit back and farm, shes good at being aggressive, she's good at helping when her jungler ganks, she's good when the enemy jungler ganks, she's good in teamfights. And she's the very best at zoning when you have a lead. Sona is basically all upside right now.
