Jayce poke is way harder to dodge and he's got stuff beside that. Lux has a shield and AoE options. Other healers can usually tank up and serve as aura bots at the same time. | ||

@Katarina: I think it's worth mentioning that Katarina in aram benefits exceptionally well with high CDR, you cannot always trigger the reset chain but with a high amount of CDR you can mimic it and easily make plays due to how rediculously low Shunpo's cooldown end up. - I use an AP/CDR page and get either the anti-shroom AP item or a Morello if they have sustain. @Gangplank: Another path, which I love in aram, is building him "AoE"-plank. Basically you rush a Iceborn and then aim for a Hydra (don't neglect tankiness inbetween - Spirit Visage is really strong). This piles up to 30% making it very easy to cap CDR if you so desire - I do and use my AD/CDR page. The result is a tanky GP, with good AoE damage (with the inborn CC to boot from Iceborn) and a strong team buff that's nearly constantly online. Oranges with max CDR and Spirit Visage are great. - Since you can start Sheen with this route, Gangplank is a threat from the get-go. EDIT: I simply had to add this. I just come from a game where an, are you ready?, AP Taric carried us hard as stone. It was simply fabulous and truely outrageous - just like gems, hue. Never expected to see AP Taric going beastmode. :D For the interested aside from Horn and Mercs rest of his items were Nashtor's + Lichbane and AP items with tanky stats. -- Long game, opponent had a good Soraka. | ||

chalice -> athene's ->kindlegem -> aegis -> spirit visage -> randuin's, tanky as heck, heals a crapton and every 60 seconds you can just zerg a squishy with your ult. had a game with a urgot and a malz, holy that triple suppress. | ||

I actually just played my first game as nid in ARAM last night - about midway into the game I sort of felt like I was cheating. Spears are fucking ridiculous. At closer range, they become quite easy to land. Late game she is not as dominant though - I soon came to realize that if I have to go into cougar form for any reason, I'm probably already dead - had more luck just running, healing, and kiting with spears. Suess/Monte, do you still not feel that Master Yi is top tier?? I've literally seen Yi single-handedly win more games than any other champ. We could be shitting on the enemy team hard, but once Yi starts getting resets, there's very little that you can do to stop him from wiping out your entire team, and the lead that you built early on suddenly becomes meaningless. He doesn't even need his team anymore. Unless you are lucky and have stuns/knockups on your side, he can be extremely tough to deal with. | ||
