I remember hearing that there was something you had to do when you set this to be your left click(mouse1) button. I did this at some point from this reddit page: Copy the below into your input.ini file, removing redundant entries. This uses Middle Button to replace current Button 1 functions. Make sure you include paragraph spacing between the headers. [GameEvents] evtPlayerAttackMove=[<Unbound>] evtPlayerAttackMoveClick=[Button 1] evtPlayerSelectClick = [Button 3] evtOnUIMouse4Pan=[<Unbound>] [MouseSettings] RollerButtonSpeed = 0 [HUDEvents] evtOnUIMouse1 = [Button 1], [Button 3] evtOnUIMouse2 = [Button 2] evntHudMoveableSelect = [Button 3] As explained on the source page, remember that you will lose your basic left click this way. You can bind it to another button (e.g. the middle one), but from my experience it feels really weird (especially when it comes to minimap movement or items shopping/dragging).

I have no idea, all I know is we didn't have a mage or real lockdown but regardless, when he got close enough, he would fuck the Vayne in any manner he wanted and the Vayne was proper fed. Blind and then went in for the kill. I wasn't happy with this. I also have the feeling Hecarim is going to be a nice pick at top with all his regen and the grasp of undying. Must test. Renekton as full tank again unfortunately.

I was in a lane with a vayne, against a jinx and a brand. I figured brand would do a lot of damage, so whenever I hooked someone, I thought we'd just trade (normal q+e combo commbined with a few auto's from vayne) and retreat to wait for cd again. However, in practice communication didn't quite work out, as (i think) vayne thought i went all in every time, and we gave up some kills due to it. My question is as follows: are these kind of trades viable? Or should I just have played less aggressive? Also, I have very little experience playing against somewhat more damaging supports, are there some kind of situations i should watch out for as a blitz player? Because I play at very low elo, I don't really have a clue about what 'should' work and what not. I just try to land hooks on squishies and peel with e, and things mostly work out.

The best way to play that lane would be to just concede it and farm at tower and look for tower grabs. Maybe your jungler might gank it too since blitz/vayne does assist in ganks pretty easily but in a straight up 2v2 are quite bad

It seems with the Gun+Rageblade combo, he can essentially 3 shot champions now. teemo always was a very strong pick against marksmen. that never changed. but he is however too weak of a marksman himself, which leads to the question on which lane he should be played. supp and jungle? nope leaves mid and top where he dosent offer anything that the current meta laners do. and even if he wins or even dominates the lane, he is still very easy to take out, which makes his lead useless. TLDR: his kit dosent offer anything you need on any lane except a possible early dominance that will be nullified as the first real teamfight occurs..

is there any place to go that has decent information on how to improve for advanced players (so basically not the lol 101 guides) ive been playing casually for a year now and i will hit lvl 30 soon since the xp required got reduced drastically so im looking to pick up some things that would otherwise require me to play hundreds of games on my own to find out. i used to play dota professionally so im talking more about laning/teamfight dynamics etc rather than the mechanical aspects (although some tips about certain heroes and their skills would be nice too)

granted it is a little outdated now, but when the guide was released it was quite extensive covering all the basics as well as the 'advanced' things such as controlling creep aggro, trading etc im not sure what exactly im looking for because a lot of things i know from dota translate over to lol anyway, including things like freezing lanes, trading (although much more dependent on level spikes and skillshot dodging etc), positioning in fights etc. atm im still learning a lot of skills and champions and i dont know wtf at least 30% of what champions skills are, so that is an obvious disadvantage. but when i finally do learn all this stuff im wondering whether there will be some gaps in my knowledge that will be the difference between a diamond and a masters for example, or whether it will just be smooth sailing from there because most of the concepts and mechanics are the same as dota anyway. i may be overcomplicating the game because i understand that there arent nearly as many 'little' things to take care of as dota, but if there are then id want to know. just for you guys to get a grasp on my skill level right now, i play adc/sup mainly because theyre the roles where dota skills are most easily transferred over imo, and i can play against plats and low diamonds (depending on how comfortable i am with the champion) just fine. so if you were a plat/diamond looking to go up the ranks what kind of things would you try to improve on?

Just give some replays. I don't really know of any good guides going around right now and summoner's school on reddit is pretty damn bad honestly. Reading your comments sounds like there isn't really any magical tips to give you just need to get some games played. If you have previous gaming experience on a high level it shouldnt take you longer than a few months to get to at least d5 especially on an easy server like oce.

Right now you are far ahead of the curve of a normal newbie, so it's hard to tell what you will need to learn/go over specifically since a lot of issues right now won't be a problem with just a little bit of experience and actually learning what different items/champs/buffs/etc. do. Many of the guides that are out there are tailored to newbies and even fewer are actually up to date and relevant. And even fewer than that are guides that are actually good. There is a guide I recall that was made specifically for DotA players but from what I can remember it was pretty low level and something you probably aren't looking for. Right now what I would recommend if you want to improve asap is just playing ranked and play until you plateau (stuck in a certain elo for a bit like being unable to pass promos multiple times or unable to reach promos). At that point you will probably realize that you've been doing something (or several things) wrong and you can start reviewing your play closely to break through that plateau. Of course you can post here for help as well. When I first started (no MOBA experience) I sky rocketed through to like gold/plat pretty easily and then plateau'd at high plat at the end of my first season. Of course it was pretty hard to identify alot of my mistakes since I was used to just simply climbing naturally, but once I did I was able to climb again pretty well. This is when I relied the most on looking up replays, watching others (streams or replays), and asking around for opinions on certain champs, builds, etc. You'll probably go through a similar process. If you haven't even started to plateau yet, it means you have a lot more to learn on your own before you even need help from others. If grinding games isn't your thing and/or not having the time, I do recommend watching pro players play though. You get to get a peek into their thought process and its super easy to learn on a basic level what champs do from simply watching them. I pretty much learned what half the champs did simply through watching streams when I started the game. Of course I didn't know the nuances or whatever, but it was definitely helpful so I didn't have any moments of 'what the fuck just hit me' in game but rather 'oh it does this much damage I thought it did less' which isn't that bad. --- tl;dr you're good enough to self learn for now and that is the quickest way to improve atm until you start to plateau. even if we tell you what to do right now, it takes time to actually piece that together in game and act accordingly. throwing a bunch of information at you right now wouldn't be the best use of our time and your time. if you have specific questions though feel free to ask. but if you're looking for some general all-purpose advanced guide, sad to say that I don't think there exists one that isn't at least completely outdated and/or bad. again, you're better off just playing the game for now.

I think score isn't really what you should be looking at, anyway. Just look at every aspect of your own gameplay very critically and you'll find out your real impact.
