if not is there a thread or anything for zergs, I would like to switch to zerg for LotV but having a hard time with zvz( the reason i didnt switch in hots or WoL) I can not figure out a good build. I have no clue when to expo, and i mean my first expo, I see so many build in Lotv I am not sure what is good. I have been doing double extractor trick drone to 17-18 then expo but I feel thats really late but then when i expo earlier i feel behind any tip would be great. Please and thank you. EDIT: NVM watching TLO now smh been doing everything wrong lol. | ||

Edit: The answer is NO, the minimum amount of damage a unit deals per attack is 1, regardless of how much armor the target has. | ||

I mean an Ultralisk has 8 armor, and I think +3 attack interceptors do 8 damage (twice). So in theory that's how it is right? I've been wondering about a ling into ultra style in zvp where you just counter attack/basetrade. Although I guess they can always add more voids to deal with the ultras. Anyway every zvp right now is against mass carriers for me. Edit: I just tested fully upgraded Ultras vs fully upgraded Carriers. The Ultra has 8 Armor and the Interceptors deal 8 damage. But the Ultra still takes 1 damage from every shot and slowly dies. Why is that, can somebody explain? Edit2: So even a queen which does 7 damage deals 1 damage against an 8 armor Ultralisk. So I guess the minimum amount of damage a unit can deal in Starcraft is 1, regardless of how much armor the target has. TIL  . Well so much for invincible Ultras vs Carrier | ||

Why is that, can somebody explain? Every shot does like 0.5 damage, that's the minimum damage possible in the game. Same with zerglings! Do they deal 8 damage? I thought it was 7 damage at +3. ------------- What's the best way to deal with protoss who goes 2base stargate with photon overcharge and/or a full wall? Faced one recently, scouted 1 stargate done and 1 on the way - we went to 3 stargates and lost horribly because he had more phoenix. Have hit a few other protoss doing the same, did a few stupid all-ins and didn't even dent them. Not sure how to approach the matchup since this has become popular | ||

Yeah it's 8 damage, but I tested it with a queen which does 7 damage with the same result. So I guess that 0.5 damage is still 1 damage in reality then right? Since the queen did 1 damage per shot and not per two shots. I sadly can't help with pvp . | ||
