So you go stalker's blade/warrior, and not juggernaut?
Something like stalker's blade+boots -> warrior -> righteous glory + mercs -> some armour (FH or Randuin's), then even tankier?

When you talk about focusing the enemy melees, do you just use W and E to damage them and keep Undertow in case a squishy steps too close to go in on him? It feels like if you aren't chasing it's hard to use Undertow well without naturally cutting yourself from your team since there is the minimal distance.
Also you don't ult like that Osmoses, ideally you'd want to reach your target first, then ult to use the AD steroid and remove their ability to disengage/kite you (also that's when you can use W's lifesteal to counterbalance the loss of resistances a bit). If you ghost and ult to try and get in that's when they use Talisman, Sivir's ult, etc. to just run away, and either waste your ult or outright 5v1 you if you foolishly chase and get ahead of your team.
Olaf is supposed to build tanky enough that 1-2 cc to the face while he tries to position isn't the end of the world (especially if it doesn't go to your teammates), getting shat on because you shed your resistances at that moment where they're going to focus the obvious target is your problem.

Never build mercs, they're trash on Olaf. Go ninja tabi every time, if they have double AP and you're not at all afraid of their autoattack damage, just built tabi after Locket. Don't built FH either, you don't need the mana after you get Righteous Glory and you're already sitting on 32.5% CDR from runes+masteries+warrior+locket. Trailblazer is trash on Olaf even on the first back, I just get Stalker's in case I want to gank or fight, the speedup for yourself is massive in both ganks or fights.
If you're focusing melees, you should probably wait until you are melee range to throw your axe, then proceed depending on what they do. If they start running away from you, well, that's simple. If they want to run past you, you go past them to pick up your axe and reevaluate whether you want to go deeper or start chasing the melee towards your team, which is the more likely choice here.
In a small fight, you probably want to use your ult just before you hit your first axe, provided you can follow up properly, in the early and midgame then 40-60 AD buff is absolutely murder. In bigger teamfights you probably want to wait to just before you get hit by CC or a reposition to maximize the useful time your ult is up.

It was supposed to be last year's ultimate skin, so yes. Though, keeping with tradition it should be on sale in the 1XXX range when it comes out.

what does your jungle olaf build look like? I like to go Chilling Smite -> Warrior, Bork, into tank but sometimes skip the bork to get tanky faster/rush Glory. Problem always seems to be in teamfights the second you turn red and Ghost you just get blown up immediately.

Well tbh a tank(solo/jungle obviously braum exists but he is support different) can't exist if he doesn't have good base damage in this current league.Sion is actually a really good example because he deals a lot of damage same as mundo.

Yeah, if you get blown up it's because you go BoRK (and also probably teamfight wrong and probably don't farm enough). I also suspect that you probably have mana issues or clear a lot slower later on because you have to be conservative with your axes. Bork doesn't even make particularly much sense, if you can get into chilling smite range you can probably catch up anyway, Righteous Glory allows your entire team to follow. Also the offensive stats on BoRK are really really pathetic for Olaf, who scales pretty much only off of AD.

I would probably argue that Mundo is a bruiser and not a tank.
Riots champion role thing lists him as a Fighter primary Tank secondary. That's the same category as Aatrox, Darius, Hecarim, Nasus, Renekton, etc.
I think one of the primary qualities of a "tank" is having lots of CC, which Mundo does not have. Champions like Leona, Sejuani, Sion, Maokai and Nautilus are champions I'd consider to be "tanks", and some of those I think are quite popular, and definitely not dead.
Tank junglers might be dead, but that's nothing new. Tank top laners are still going strong.
Also isn't this entire thing supposed to be a banned discussion? :D

even tho i think hes broken hes so frustrating to play in soloQ, u rely on others to do dmg but sometimes teammates are so bad its unbearable, i had plenty of games where i was literally 1v4 in team fights for 30seconds stopping everyone from doing anything tanking all the dmg and we still lost cuz adc/apc are potatoes with iq of their shoe size
