90% of the time I'm in queue or waiting for one I'm doing something else. Half the time this also includes the loading screen and first 1-2 minutes of the actual game. Some googling seems to suggest that average game length is 33-34 minutes. The last few weeks I've probably been playing League for 4 hours a day, but definitely not 6-7. | ||

Because most other productive/social activities require more attention than just the few minutes while you're in queue, so that time is essentially still eaten up by your gaming time, even if you're doing "something that's not gaming" with that time.
