This type of brilliance is why he's the head writer xD BTW: http://euw.lolesports.com/articles/championship-points-unlocked-and-more-2015-lcs-changes Spring split matters now it seems. Helps consistent teams but not necessarily the hottest team at the time of worlds.

Not sure Winner of Spring/Summer should auto-qualify for Worlds though because you can have a great Spring but then collapse in Summer. Should be like the KR system where top points gets an automatic berth into Worlds, so you can't just win Spring and then say "Welp, I'm done for this year." The system in the OP is Summer winner -> auto qualify; Spring winner -> points.

Gnar is weak against anyone with a gap closer. Just leap strike, he will either hop away or if he fights use your dodge and w and you win trades. Gnar has like no hp regen and generally lifesteal of just dorans blade isn't enough. I have played this matchup alot. both as Gnar and as Jax.

Gnar has a super spammable slow, %health magic damage and big physical base damage so he'd trash a bruiser even when built full tank. With a thornmail he'd amp it up some more. If Gnar doesn't feel like fighting Jax, he won't fight him long, reducing the impact of Jax's ult's active. The cd on their respective jumps are irrelevant if Gnar flees because he'll get MS boosts just autoing him and tossing 1k range boomerangs, and mini-Gnar has more base MS than Jax already at higher levels. Even if Gnar can't run out of range, Jax won't jump him much before he reaches a tower or simply jumps over a wall where Jax lacks vision. If he positions well you'll also eat all of his minion wave's aggro if you auto him after the jump. It's not that clear-cut.

I too have been thinking of picking up Sion, but I'm too afraid of stuffing up his ult and looking like an idiot. Plus his pegleg thing annoys me. Last random thought: How has Thresh been able to slide through for all this time? He never gets spoken about seriously, just sees a small nerf every so often. Continues to dominate the support role.

Because he doesn't really dominate that much. He is pretty much lee sin of supp. Can do much more than most champs but doesn't just faceroll over any support and he is very loved by community in general.

At the top level, yes, he doesn't dominate that much, but in general I feel like it requires less skill for a player to be on a certain level with Thresh than say, Nami or Zyra.

Is that a problem worth spending resources to fix? I'm guessing Riot probably does not think so.

Don't agree at all.Passive supports in general are much easier to play like soraka/nami/janna(ofc can be played agressively if you are good but just staying back and not doing anything works much better with those).Thresh actually needs to do stuff to be useful in lane.

Yeah but if the enemy has a passive support like Soraka you can do whatever the fuck you want as Thresh. Also, in that case it's just playing not to lose, if you try to play to win vs Thresh as Sona or Zyra I still stand by my original statement.

As Thresh vs Soraka you cannot do whatever you want at all. You have to get damage on Soraka. Anything else doesn't do shit. If you hook the adc and get a great trade it doesn't matter at all because 5 seconds later he is full hp again. Thresh vs Zyra is also a pretty tough matchup in lane if the Zyra is decent.
