This is pretty common for videos where someone just talks off the cuff about a subject. It's ridiculously easy to get lost in the eddies of your own stream of consciousness. | ||

That would not happen if you had played it right presuming that you weren't far enough behind alredy. EDIT: Let's elaborate. Mini Gnar has one leap, Jax does also. Lategame, Jax's leap will be around 6 seconds cooldown if even that high, Gnar's will be in the double digits, this makes it so that Jax can keep up with Gnar. Jax will be rocking a bunch of free stats during his ultimate, on will. Which means that as soon as Mega Gnar drops into Mini Gnar, Jax should start the fight. Jax will also be dealing mixed damage, which is very hard to itemize against. Jax also posesses an auto attack reset, allowing him to deal more DPS, along with free attack speed from his passive, Gnar has extra attack speed after he jumps, however, he won't be building damage, while Jax should at least have a Trinity Force to sinergize with his W. Assuming Jax is building completely for splitpush he will also be having a Blade of the Ruined King to catch up to Gnar, and use the passive of that item to it's max potential, with such a high attack speed. Gnar on the other hand doesn't have any attack speed slow besides Randuins Omen. This is 15% of the base attack speed, which is where all the extras are multiplied from on Jax's side, so it's quite a bit considering such factors. The cons of not having any offensive items, is that, against damage mitigation present in Jax's ult and E, he will not be able to kill Jax, before Jax kills him. This, implies, of course, that Jax isn't considerably far behind Gnar, and is fighting in a side lane, where there's ample space to chase and duel. | ||

I mean, I wonder who was the bear that solo-wrote the entire LoL Season 2 coverage? T_T | ||

It was mostly the vocal minority here and there talking some smack. I know the most of the higher ups at TL weren't particularly interested in or fond of LoL but I don't recall them perpetuating any of the negative stereotypes of the shit talkers.
