either you just go from camp to camp not wasting any time or you go into a lane, get into a fight, drop low on hp and have to base, or you don't have to base but you're pretty much "improvising" from there anyway, but you likely gained some exp so you can't really simulate that by jsut standting around doing nothing about doing golems instead of birds, I can tell you without testing: it end up being worse, because you waste so much more time walking that there's no chance you clear faster | ||

it'd take like 10 seconds more to walk there and then killing it isn't gonna be any faster with an AoE jungler like Evelynn, probably significantly slower. Not worth testing. This patch has made Athenes basically 100% not worth taking, if you look at the numbers. Check this out. Athenes + Amp Tome: 3135g 80 AP 25 MR +50% regen 20% CDR 1.5% missing mana per 5 secs 15% mana on kill or assist Morello + Chalice: 3100g 80 AP 25 MR +150% regen 20% CDR 1.5% missing mana per 5 secs Grievous Wounds passive Basically, I feel like Chalice is at a point now where you shouldn't buy it unless you have to, and even if you have to you should never upgrade to Athenes, you should go Chalice + Morello instead and sell the Chalice when you run out of item slots. | ||

The thing is the upgrade from Chalice to Athenes got nerfed HARD, to the point where going Chalice + Morello is actually going to be more value than going Athenes. Chalice + Forbidden Idol + Codex is the new Athenes, basically. | ||
