Nunu is pretty strong right now -- likely because no one knows how to jungle, and he's so safe that you can just farm your jungle and then run into their jungle and fuck with them super hard because they're too busy dying to Wraiths.
Also chompy chompy means you can farm pretty quickly without wasting smite on shitty camps.
Overall I'm pretty nonplussed with the Jungle changes. Riot is always harping on about elegant design and game clarity and if I wasn't reading S@20 I would have no idea how this game works. Like why does a Summoner Spell you take outside of the game have a very special interaction with a subset of items you buy in the game that have such a bizzare upgrade path? Complexity of the game went through the roof and I originally started playing league because it was a casual game I could pick up with friends. Might as well play Heroes of the Storm now.

SaintVicious has a (windows) post-it note on his screen:
16 games a day Try to get jungle Respect the cheese
Nunu > Jarvan > Lee > Fiddle > Rengar

The dragon changes seem weird to me. So many anti-snowball changes, yet this one seems to promote snowballing if you prevent the enemy from getting dragon.
I also dislike the extra move speed stuff. My skillshot reliant non mobile champs are crying

I'm just so excited about having Shurelya back ^^

Oh and the inhib/nexus turrets bought Frozen Mallet because you ain't allowed to dive if you don't have Baron buff or Ohmwrecker.

o.o
Big blob thing sucks, dont smite it ever.
EDIT: Feels like there is less XP in the jungle. I keep hitting 6 later than I would in S4 jungle. Maybe it s arunes thing, I bet AS runes significantly out-preform AD runes right now with Machete changes. Machete applies a dot over 2 seconds. As long as you are above 0.5 attack speed you won't get extra damage out of machete when going AS runes. oh wow I didn't notice that change. well shit, there goes the 29% atk speed master yi rune page Glad I'm not the only one. Lol. I'm averaging like 6 creeps a minute power farming one side of the jungle, am I just bad or is this normal? I feel like i should be leveling faster. EDIT: Definitely a lot more gold in the jungle though. Full upgraded Jungle item, Trinity, and T2 boots on VI at ~20 minutes. Not bad. If you have 10 kills too it doesn't count.
If Vi not only is slow, but almost dies like Wukong, I'm not sure I even want to have a glimpse of how Nautilus performs.

Alright, Eve can do red-wraiths-wolves-blue clear, then has to base. I guess that's... acceptable

So since I main warwick jungle I'm supposed to get challenger now, right ? But since I'm so hipster I'll stop playing warwick if everyone plays him now, not interesting !

Will be fun to play on the new map+the jungle changes.
But kalista seems super op as fuck only judging from the spotlight LOL

Yeah, I was just wondering what's the link between that and the post you quoted i've found for most junglers double golems is easier than birds. so you might be able to get more out of your routes if you take the other camps instead and save birds for when your aoe is leveled up some. I've also found taking red third with a smite up is generally going to be better for staying in the jjungle, because smiting it gives you that healing boost immediately so you can finish it, and then the red regen carries you past that.

taking wraiths is faster for some and usually you'd have to go out of your way to get golems
quick, not fully optimized tests: Tryndamere golems->red->wraiths->wolves->blue->frog 4:00 (ad runes) Yi golems->red->wraiths->wolves->blue (2lvls in Q, 1 lvl in E) 3:36 (ad runes) Skarner frog->blue->wolves->wraiths->red->golems 3:45 (ad runes) Eve red->wraiths->wolves-blue 3:10 Amumu frog->blue->wolves->wraiths->red 3:30 (ms quints) Udyr frog->blue->wolves->wraiths->red->golems 3:38 (AD runes) Olaf frog->blue->wolves->wraiths->red->golems 3:35 (AD runes)
In what jungle clears did you find taking red 3rd to be optimal? You almost always want to start either frog or golems, in which case you'd take red 5th or 2nd. Exception is Eve who just loses too much hp and can take only 2 buffs+2 camps and maybe Olaf who gains more from the faster blue than from the poison passive of frog. nah, Olaf starts frog too

Pretty much been doing frog -> wolves -> red on pretty much everyone except the mindless junglers. i haven't found another path that worked as well. but im reluctant to try now that i've figured out a route that seems to work great.

On November 20 2014 21:40 Scip wrote: why Frog is easy to take down for most junglers i play, also easy to kite back and leash for, and the buff makes clearing the little wolves and cinderling almost incidental, and then when you smite the red, you heal over 2 seconds, so you can use that smite to essentially bring your hp back up a ton enough to clear a couple camps. and the red buff regen helps keep you high enough to gank if its very available or to continue to clear until you get boots +machete up.
