I didn't mean anything more than that I was lucky, it's just sort of weird to me that people blame NA's weird lag/disconnect issues on Riot when it's usually pretty clearly something that's mostly out of their control.

btw sufficiency, you'll need to link your blog in the reddit post.

Realistically the only reason crit made it into the game was because it was in other games as a familiar mechanic to the demographic they wanted to market the game to (WoW, DotA, etc.). It's also why AP made it into the game as an analogue to Spellpower in WoW and why mana regen was reported in per-5-second increments despite that unit of measure not making any sense in any context outside of WoW. Remember that at release, AD casters didn't really even exist. None of the initial set of champions had AD ratios at release. The idea of having abilities scale off AD didn't even come for quite a while. On October 05 2014 07:16 Ketara wrote: Then they went about removing RNG elements. Dodge, Phage, champion abilities with RNG involved (Sion, Gangplank etc)
Yet for some reason crit is still around, and in this updated version of the game it just makes no sense. I think the reason for that is that crits get a lot more of a visceral response than a dodge or Phage proc. It's a matter of what people find fun, and while people like seeing big red numbers, they more or less don't pay attention at all to dodges and are much more indifferent to Phage procs. And they never should have changed that. Amen brother. Changing that was the single greatest mistake they have ever done in designing the game. Nothing wrong with a baker throwing spears with a magical hat on his head. Well it screws up a lot of things. The two it messes with most are: Powercurves so ADCs don't have that midgame and earlygame weakness; and AD assassins/bruisers, which always seem unstable from a balance perspective.

There are so many itemisation problems in this game, and yet nothing ever seems to be done about them.

Well if you think about it, unless people have been paying attention to Riot's non-publicly announced stance, what do you expect them to do?
Person A spends a lot of the on the internet. Person A plays League. League has constant issues. The rest of the internet is fine.
If you look at those 4 sentences, the obvious first conclusion is "Something is wrong with League." The real issue is that Riot hasn't come out with a big announcement about the issue outside of red posts and hasn't given any public update on working around the issue in over half a year.

It has to be like that.
If I put my blog link on the main post, it gets deleted.

I think there's a lot of truth to that.
A big part of the problem with Riot handling connection problems and player behavior is they just don't talk about what they're doing more than once or twice a year.
They've got real good community management and patch notes and stuff when it comes to balance stuff, but when it comes to community/playerbase stuff it's very poor.

BTW, Sufficiency doesn't buy boots in a 40 minute game.
Cancerous.

I used to buy a lot of RP. Because of the server issues and 0 communication on what they've been doing about it since Amsterdam(which is then they promised to start working on NA) I have completely stopped doing so. It's a shame, because I know for a fact they are gunshy about saying anything unless they concrete know shit because of times when they'd say things in the past and the community puts them on blast for it if they fail to meet their expressed deadlines. However, half a year of avoidance is too long. Riot as a company has lost my confidence as a customer and I refuse to reward them for ignoring or avoiding issues critical to running the game.

I outplayed that Lucian so hard yet Lucian came back.
What an OP champion he is.

I don't buy boots on Janna. I don't think it's worth it.
I got freaking 434 movement speed. That's more than enough.

that's like being too rich or too handsome, its not fucking possible. more always better.
my build hits 522 movespeed on janna, which soothes a dota itch and always gives me a laugh.

It's just gonna get soft capped,

Basically, as support you have to move around the map the most, so more movespeed is always better.
Pretty sure mobi boots on Janna is standard. Not like they cost much.
|
It's still 800 gold I could spend somewhere else.
Yes in competitive every Janna goes mobi + Captain, but that's not solo queue.
Also it's a slot which I can use for another item.... you know, one that is actually good.
