When they changed the base stats on the item it stopped making sense. FQC has better base stats now (and better gold generation late game), and while the active is worse in some situations, it's never much worse and doesn't really justify spending the extra gold to switch items. Then you add in Spellthief/Frostfangs better laning power and it makes sense that basically nobody builds Talisman anymore. I still build Talisman on Soraka though, because HP regen on new Soraka is super legit. | ||

Sure I could bully a little bit more with edge, but then again its yoloqueue and I have to look out for myself too. I'll gladly take the well rounded coin line over the very lopsided - although stronger harass oriented - edge line. | ||

on another note, does anybody play ranked 5's a lot? Does it ever balance out in terms of playing people around your own skill level? My team is gold 4 and we still play master/challenger teams, d1 teams, d1-d5 teams more than half our games... | ||
