You joke, but it looks like it is back. You should have seen the UoL game earlier today, and vardags(spelling?) doing this exact thing. It was RIDICULOUS. He died at least three times by it(possibly more), and threw away leads they earned. That whole SKP vs UoL game three was such a throw fest. | ||

I read an article that postulates the reason that the divorce of Runeterra's lore and the League game is so they have the ability to spin off the League brand into another game, similar to how Blizzard did Hearthstone with Warcraft. | ||

How about it's the end-times and whatever all-powerful beings that remain are bored and into gambling so they conjure ghosts of legendary people and throw them in a fighting pit. There, now they can have a story but you don't need justification for them playing at war. | ||
