I realize there's a brief period where its directly in front of him, but I mean after it's gone past me I'll roll the q and it'll block it anyways. Wut. Something to do with how detection works in LoL I guess. So long as you cast windwall before the actual projectile connects you can block it? The wall is active the moment yasuos casts it, so as the wall gets "pushed" out by the animation it's still blocking everything.

Feels to me that S4 went from mixed damage full tank to AP full tank.

Here's two pictures of what I'm talking about: + Show Spoiler +Case 1: (Windwall has passed through me, q doesn't hit him.) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Spvj7tB.jpg) Case 2: ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/ZJSWTts.jpg) It might have to do with where the game considers the projectile is launching from for the first case, the second case seems batshit insane to me and should never happen. And no, he's not anywhere near the wall and its at its resting point in the 2nd case.
The first has to do with where the game considers the projectile launching from. IIRC it launches from the middle of the character model. Additionally the wall has a width (its not two dimensional). If any part of the projectile hits the wall its destroyed. So even if you look like you're slightly behind it, launching a big projectile (Malphite Q) can cause it to be destroyed.
Same thing is probably happening when you're beside it, the width of the wall is a bit wider than it looks like in the animation, the side of your Q scrapes the wall and POOF.

Really? i have not met anyone who has not had issues with fadeaway lasers causing them to reposition Viktor instead of casting the laser.
Though i find the argument that this mechanical issue would cause Viktor to become OP kinda foolish as we note that you are not challenger tier and yet "don't have any problems smartcasting it". I suppose either you don't care about winning games or Viktor wouldn't be OP with a laser behavior change which made it easier to cast max range lasers.

For rammus top you abuse the fact that homeguard mobo nearly gets you to lane in a single Q. So you can go teleport anywhere and do your thing and not get pushed too hard top, since you can just B to base and zoom all the way up there.

I would like to discuss cow top some, as I just started playing it yesterday. I play support cow and played him jungle back in the day so I have some experience with him.
Im in gold so im no expert and I haven't tried him in ranked yet. Blind pick in OCE is .... high variance so I cant say how good it really is but it feels solid. I was looking for a tanky top to add to my pool, and my Maokai trial wasn't great. Felt good in lane, but I died to ganks a lot.
9/21 is all I've tried, and ive tried a few different rune set ups. Almost always armour yellows and mr blues, tried mpen reds with ap quints, armour reds with hp yellows and armour quints, and hpen reds with ad quints. I really liked the hpen reds, quints I used ad mostly for lack of a better option in blind pick. In ranked I think I will run defensive quints appropriate to my lane opponent.
Starting flask with pots, up to 2 mana pots depending on how much heath regen I will need early. Took w 1st going R>W>Q> E. Using w almost on cd, making effort to be as obnoxious as possible by denying them the creep they were trying to last hit (extra points for cannon minion of course). Saving q for disengage seems to be important for mana management and gank safety, as well and keeping the trades as one sided as possible.
Rushing a sheen into tank has been working well for me, only finishing trinity after frozen heart and visage. I haven't tried trinity into shiv yet, but I like the idea of it and will try it next time.
The gank assist is great, along side his powerful disengage and extreme tankiness with ult make it a tough lane to be ganked and almost invulnerable under turret. Playing cow top reminds me of Nunu top is a few ways.

don't start a game on NA right now, I'm literally the only person who connected to start this game lol

Yea I happened to start a new game about 10 minutes ago, lasted until ~3 minutes in and then I disconnected. Hopefully it's not just me since everyone else seems to be having those issues though.

Well I made it through champ select and my game no longer exists. Fun times.
Obligatory Rito Pls.

Gonna be a while x__X

NA dead
Playing ranked => everyone on team begins to DC => try reconnecting for a few minutes => reconnect!
No one in game except the enemy jungler; he had apparently built full AD, is now 5 levels up on me and is hammering the nexus directly
Good times
*edit* Ranked has been disabled due to a "known problem"

The "Official pre chasing the cup" gameplay on the machinima channel is amusing

Just a despondent sneaky looking at a bunch of level 5's in fountain in a 36 minute game

Playing cow top reminds me of Nunu top is a few ways. using W when your lane opponent tries to last hit a cannon minion probably makes playing alistar top worth it all by itself. also if your elo is low enough you will probably get the first kill in lane every single time with a flash-q-w when they make a mistake and get too close to your tower.

Let me rephrase, I have screwed up lazers with Viktor, I dont have a problem with it being difficult to pull off. I can accept that Viktor's core gameplay can be screwed up rather easily by playing poorly, just as everyone who played BW for 10 years accepted Dragoons, Tanks, Ultras etc had absolute garbage pathing and could become useless rather easily due to mechanical demand. His lazers being hard to do and sometimes causing errors doesn't make him weak, just makes him rewarding. I dunno, a good Viktor can carry hard, and make it so it takes ages and ages to lose.
Viktor that can do running Lazers is really strong, impossible to engage upon, but does the damage of a full channel of the culling to the entire team every 8 seconds.
I dont necessarily think he would be "OP" but he would become pretty popular, which likely means they'd nerf him.

Is there a way to quickly see a champions LCS statistics? Not a players, mind.

Oh, I forgot they had these with bans. For some reason I thought they just transcribed the post game screen. ><

I think the Viktor laser thing is a case of it would be nice, but let's sort out other problems first. It's not a major change imo, fixing Q and augments should take much greater priority.
