They put that up for pride month.
All of this discussion could be settled by watching Sirhcez channel. One trick ponies are good for one thing, their one trick. The guy with like 6 D1 accounts and gets challenger whenever he wants with Nasus and a 2000 game sample size. Sounds like a good resource.

I dunno if there's a way to link the games, but I see two games against a Riven from around a month ago on http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=SirhcEezy
That being said, I don't think that Sirhcez is exactly a master theory crafter. Yes, he's obviously good with Nasus, but his long stint of spell vamp Singed makes me somewhat suspicious.

TBH the higher I get the more of a one trick pony I become. I'm riding the MF train to D1 if I keep this winrate up. When that's not available I go to Wukong. If both of those are taken I play whatever and try my best to not throw so hard I can't be carried. Being a one-trick pony to gain rating is fine, in my opinion. It's not that I can't play other stuff, it's just why would I when I can play my strongest champ in my strongest role?

CDR/lvl is utter shit usually and doesn't bring much. Dunno, I was considering it for Sejuani. Have not decided yet. Totes not worth. Randuins active is butt on Sej, just build FH. Between FH, Golem, and Locket/SV I find it pretty easy to max CDR when going full tank.

I know that Faker runs CDR per level sometimes so that with just athene's you hit 40%.

CDR/lvl is utter shit usually and doesn't bring much. wouldn't CDR/lvl be better relative to other per level runes with the sort of reverse diminishing returns type of thing it has going on where the more CDR you have the more valuable additional CDR becomes?
CDR/Level generally is utter shit but it is not entirely useless 100% of the time. Here in Korea some Rivens will run it top or mid to ensure a better way to 40% cdr at end-game stages.
A few champions can benefit from it depending on how you want to itemize them (shaco comes to mind)
As for the teleport/ignite stuff I'll try to give my input on it. I'm a believe that taking teleport isn't good at lower elos (d3~belowish??) due to your teammates not knowing how to interact with it and thus I think ignite is superior. However on some champions (those who if they're gonna get a kill, they're get a kill) and also unique-gamestyle champions (yi and nasus instantly come to mind) I think teleport has "hidden" text since it directly influences a part of their core playstyle as a champion and not a choice as a player. Teleport serves a purpose of allowing you to farm Q stacks faster and not be "repeatedly" bullied out of lane as Nasus. It also serves for teleporting to giant minion waves later and also letting you afk farm you Q. Sure other champs you can say also can afk-farm and teleport in but nasus has a side-quest where this dynamic benefits him much more. Very similiar to Yi with his backdooring and how he plays the game of cat n' mouse.
Anyway on Nasus I'd never take teleport over ignite, if you argue you're playing on a smurf in silver/gold you'll probably kill them with R/W/Q/Q/Q at level 6 anyway, you don't need the ignite. Same goes for Yi. Otherwise I think ignite is superior at all elo's below d2 or so for reasons listed above. I feel like hidden text is something a lot of people don't consider when thinking of summoners in relation to a champion, but it's pretty important.
Hope this sort of helps the discussion on it ~_~

Trying to get back into the game, I've got a few champs that I've got lined up for a "pool" as I try and main bot lane. I have a couple questions that I guess would go here, basically one per lane. My general idea with creating a pool is have 1-2 champions per lane on my offroles and maybe 3 or 4 on my main role (adc) but I'm at a loss for a couple roles, specifically top/jungle. Just organized this post by role since it's easiest to read.
Top: I'm curious what I should be attempting for top lane because I'm god awful at it but would like to pick up one solid top laner if in the unfortunate instance I have to fill top. What are people playing as "easy" top laners right now? I used to play Renekton but in watching pro games I haven't really seen him... Jungle: I jungle exclusively Elise, is there another jungler I should pick up? Or will sticking to Elise in the jungle be enough? Mid: Ori/Ahri, although I'm not sure how Ahri fares these days. Any other recommended AP Assassins? ADC: Lucian/CorkiTrist/Twitch are acceptable right now? I haven't played since the heavy Lucian nerfs so I'm not sure how he feels. ADC is my main role so it's my most diverse pool historically. Support: Have Thresh/Morg/Nami in my pool, don't have the RP/IP for Braum yet, but think those 3 should be more than enough.
Any thoughts? I'm seeing talk of Nasus right now for top but I'm not the most inspiring of Nasus players.

Top: If you rarely play top, then Mundo is a good choice. Easy, safe, very good scaling. Jungle: If you're confident with Elise, then stick with her. You should have a back up though. Nunu may be a good choice since you can use the same rune page for Elise and Nunu. Mid: Those are both good choices, particularly with Ahri just having gotten buffed. ADC: Those are all good. Support: Those are all good.

Thanks for the quick response. And yeah I generally have a main per role and a back up which is why I was wondering about the jungle, since I don't always get Elise. I'll have to try Mundo out, haven't played him since I jungled him in S2 lol.

I'd pick up Lulu too, she can be used in three of your offlanes.

Any thoughts? I'm seeing talk of Nasus right now for top but I'm not the most inspiring of Nasus players. If you're an adc main, pick up MF. She's ridiculous right now in solo queue. Just QWEEER R>E>Q>W and double dorans -> IE -> PD/BT/LW depending on what you need.
As far as supports go, Braum is strong, Nami's insane, Morgana's a good safe pick, Thresh just has crazy play potential, and Annie is a dark horse.
For jungle, pick up Wukong. He's really, really strong and plays well ahead or behind.
Top and mid just play whoever makes you feel happy lol

I'll have to pick up MF, haven't played her in a long long time.
Yea I've always kept Annie in my pocket for supporting, feels really fun to dunk people.
Haven't really thought about Wukong, I'm really comfortable on Elise.

5hit not playing cho'gath? did the world end already?

I actually do this myself as well I didn't mean to sound like im putting down the whole specialist thing. I remember seeing Bischu's stream when he first came back from Korea and he was saying he was on a show there about one champion specialists for pre-nerf nidalee. Apparently its not only not bad to be a one trick pone there but an overwhelming positive.
Pros have great mechanics but constantly chasing the meta stops them from forming that special connection with champions that I love to see. Id love to see Froggen spamming anivia in all levels of play until he could consistently stop all movement effects with reactive walls. But bans are always looming and nobody is gonna let you play your main when you are a specialist unless they can super hard counter so it is left to us solo queue warriors.

Speaking of 1 Trick ponies. I have been spamming Gragas Top and Jungle. Other than the W changes on the PBE what do people think the possible changes to him are going to be? Also, is this rework successful? Or just now we have a different kind of unbalanced Gragas?

I think every rework needs 2 patches to be decided upon. 1 for people to find out how to play it, the 2nd to figure out how strong it actually is.

Amumu is a decent jungler with low IP cost. You shouls look into that. Another choice is WW.
You can also WW top lane, but depending on your league tier you may have a hard time.surviving the laning phase.
A somewhat underrated top laner is Garen. He is decent and only 450 IP.
As far as mid laners go, I have no idea why you don't pick up Katarina/TF/Annie. They are all really good.

Decayed from plat 4 into gold regions, I have Amumu but I just prefer Elise, idk.
EDIT: And I have most champions I just don't have all of them atm. something like 70ish?
