You know im surprised there isnt some sort of technical wizardry that auto-syncs users yet. Like a website or piece of software where it'll sync a linked vid to whoevers in the room.

As a Riven player, the Riven vs. Nasus matchup is reliant on the Riven shoving the wave into the turret before level 6, because the moment you hit 6 your ulti stops us from doing our normal burst combo due to the HP gain. Ignite helps, the main thing is to use the Wither when you predict us going to farm.
I usually see Nasuses go D. Shield + Tabis to basically survive in lane, using smart Q usage to sustain.

You basically forfeit trying to CS ranged creeps. And most Rivens will shove the wave into the turret by level 3 just so you can't do anything. You have to basically be perfect with your CS on the Q's to even try and stay semi-relevant vs Riven.
Most of the Nasus I see tend to go D. Shield, back almost immediately for cloth + pots and TP back into lane before I hit level 3, just to stay relevant. I don't back though as I tend to run Ignite and don't want to let the wave push back off the turret, which might be a mistake on my end, where I should go back once I see the Nasus burn TP so I can grab a Longsword or Pickaxe if I have the gold for it and try to rush the Tiamat/Hydra.

I watched some afreeca streams a bit after and heard/saw a new technique for microing mutas that was much more fluid. people thought july stacking mutas was the craziest shit, and then jaedong came and his muta/zergling micro enabled him to dominate zvz which is arguably the most fickle matchup. and at the end of bw/today there are many people who can muta micro at jaedong's level if not better.
I'm sure there is still room for improvement in mechanics. LoL's only been out for a few years- there might be a little flash out there starting to just learn the game right now.
There's infintely more degree's of freedom in an rts like SC:BW where you control n amounf of units where you can figure out more fluent things over time compared to a moba like LoL, where you control 1 guy and have 4 skills (no semantics pls ^^), which are cooldown gated. There are only so many combinations you can do, even with moving around considered. There is also no way you can micro absolutely perfectly when you have to move 5 control groups of units compared to your just one guy. So I do honestly believe there is a mechanical skill cap that's not as high (I think we're nearly or already there looking at the absolutely batshit goldy shit Faker does) in LoL compared to our favourite rts.

you should go cloth+5, you don't really have to sacrifice many cs at all. You rush iceborn and she cant do much about it after that
cloth+5-->tp with glacial+ward+pots if you're behind you can get like chain+gaints instead of iceborne.
riven has to get ridiculously far ahead to do win lane. Just be careful about getting combo'd for nothing and you can play pretty aggressive post 6 if you are prepared to all in. auto+q harass near tower is good because she can't really do much about it because tower aggro is so smart now. In general if she combos you you W +allin post 6. With ghost you can chase down too.
riven really isn't one of the problem matchups but it's one people pick a lot because its listed on champion select.net I don't really even know what the problem matchups are. Maybe kennen. He's reasonable enouhgh later on but can still harass well. Maybe E max is needed vs him.

Nvm, slayer knows more for starting items.
vs Riven, you will be pushed under tower. Riven is going to be a very hard match up for Nasus because her damage and AAs aren't centered around attack speed but around AA-cancels.
As Nasus, you should definitely be able to hit your melee minions, but not necessarily your ranged minions. The difference between a good and a bad Nasus will be how many of those ranged creeps can you get. If you can keep yourself relatively close by last-hitting a few ranged creeps, not only will you keep the gold close, but you will also be able to sustain a little more because each hit Nasus gets on a creep is a little bit more sustain.
Between levels 1-6, it'll mainly be about how much CS can you get while farming under turret. After 6, riven's kill potential should greatly diminish as Kinie said. Once you get your first defensive item, you should be able to sustain through Riven's burst and outduel her as soon as levels 10 or 11 hits.

dorans shield just kinda sucks now, its stats are meh and it doesnt build into anything. Having 4 more pots will get you a lot more gold than the value of dshield vs cloth later. glacial is a really strong item too, 250 mana is like 2.5 free mana pots everytime you base and then armour+cdr.

theres probably lots of shit you're doing wrong to let her harass you when you cs, you don't even need much reflexes. if she has stacked Q you don't cs, wait for it to run out, if she E's in run away to avoid stun etc. If someone pushed your wave when you were back it fucks you, but most likely you did something wrong in the first place because you should be backign near your tower and tping in your tower theres no chance for the wave to push at all. you should probably play more passive early, the first 2 waves you can give up a few cs and never do more damage than you need to last hit (unless you are playing aggro specifically to keep the lane more even)

Doom bots so hard.
All my teammates like wood 5. lol. It'd be fine if all the other lanes dont feed.
How you win this mode when it flooded with feeders? Or have I just been wicked unlucky in last five game? Whats the deal with it? Not even QQ I just confused. lol.
They should rename this mode Carry idiots mode. If you can win this mode, you are a herder of idiots like none before.

iceborne is more damage, the attack speed and extra cdr isnt a priority against riven, you should already be able to kill her easily 1v1 but you have trouble chasing her down, so its just to help with that.
she shouldn't be able to get much harass done near a tower if she uses E to get away, you're probably standing too close to creeps or something. Anyway if you snowball behind like that it's pretty hard to comeback. Normally though its an easy matchup

you can start d shield no problem vs riven, just realize you will have to take ignite for this MU and should be a skill based matchup. if she uses shield for movement dont be afraid to drop E and q her shes really squishy with shield down.
after laning you can 1v1 her anytime anywhere so in the end just dont die early
also iceborne sucks dick, always get triforce asap

Hey is there a NA channel for liquid? and do u guys do inhouses?

As a Riven main, fuck Nasus. He's actually pretty good against Riven as long as you really take care not getting all-inned stupidly.
AR runes help, then past 6 you just shit in her open mouth.
