Maybe I am being unrealistic but riot's everything is just awfully slow. There was talk about a warwick rework 3 months ago as well and there haven't really been any news about it. Also after reading those patch notes vayne's tumble crits did seem a bit higher than they should be lol. There was a post that had an entire kit rework for Warwick. They probably just felt that there were still issues with it and had to tweak it or scrap it completely and start over or whatever. He's still a pretty popular champion, so it's also not like it's a huge priority. This Lucian change was also pretty huge.

Was talking about that exact post.Seemed like a pretty cool idea.Definitely way better than his current kit. Couldn't really care if riot rush and release something op.They can just nerf it not a big deal. Also holy shit warwick pick rate is pretty high wtf.I guess not seeing a single one in months doesn't really mean anything.

After worlds, I'd love for them to release some broken as shit reworks, as long as they could get it somewhat back in balance for S5.

This does raise an interesting problem, because they do the "full game reworks" like jungle between seasons thus it shifts attention away from doing champ reworks. IMO, they should just release the reworks ASAP even if they are "broken" and just be bolder about having them be global bans for competitive for more than 1 patch. IMO that is one of the dumbest unofficial rules Riot has, is that they wont just keep a broken champion that has been changed recently globally banned until it is more manageable. For instance, Braum shouldn't have been competitive enabled until at least 4.11, feral flare till 4.6 etc.

Man, homeguard sorcs are my favourite mana regen item, guess my experience with them has been pretty misguided / will shortly crash.

They really need to just stop updating the game for a year and recode everything so its designed to be expanded upon, instead of everything being put in piecemeal like it is now and causing these random bugs over and over. As nice as that would be, it's pretty obviously just straight-up not feasible to be able to devote so much time to something with not-really-major long-term benefits at a massive short-term cost. Everyone tries to make them out as this super rich company, and while I'm sure they have access to tons of resources, it's just not a smart move for them to do something like this. I'm sure they're improving their code as they go, but it's a long, slow process, and some things just aren't going to get fixed until they absolutely have to be.
