eh. vlad does need some buffs/changes though. He hasn't been relevant since what? season 2?
None of the changes will make him relevant though?
4.7 was a bunch of bug fixes, which were reasonably significant. The pool-Zhonya change is also imo more of a fix than anything, since Vlad's pool was (I think) the only skill in the game that locks you out of using Zhonyas.
If you guys are suggesting Riot should just not fix anything or that fixes are only done as cash grabs then I really don't know what to say.
its not the first time they did random meaningless changes to champion before they released new skin just to nerf it 2 months later
yes. Riot is totally going to nerf an unplayed champion whose only changes in almost TWO years are bug fixes/consistency changes because once they get the money they can fuck Vlad players all they want. amirite
even as vlad main i agree his design is flawed sustain, manaless, ranged poke etc but i feel he is fine right now (maybe not tier 1 but still sees competitive play from time to time) and im 100% sure if he ever becomes popular he will be nerfed or reworked pretty fast, thats why i dont want them to touch him in fear of ending like xerath idk how can u defend them at this point when its pretty clear money grab, they did the same with rumble when they buffed him just before legendary skin release meanwhile dozen of champions need help a lot more
erm. Rumble's most recent buff was 4.6, which was after the skin release. The only buff before that was 3.7, which was almost a year before the release. .
still PBE changes were a known just after skin release(buff came next patch) and i remember vividly even here people wondered why would they buff perfectly fine champion when there are so many others in need of help

by perfectly fine you mean a champion who hasn't been relelvant in the competitive scene since the before the start of season 4 and barely has a ~1% pickrate in solo queue?
there are plenty of "perfectly fine" champions in the game. but the vast majority of those "perfectly fine" champions see absolutely no competitive play. If Riot wants (and it seems that they do) to balance around competitive play, a champion should be receiving tweaks if they are irrelevant to the competitive scene.

popularity =/= strength even when he was broken as fuck with 56% winrate with front load ult damage barely anyone played him, that meta shifted people prefer to play safe tanks for team comp doesnt mean he became bad or unviable, he is still the same (in fact buffed) as when balls shit on dyrus yorick or soaz renekton and made him banned rest of the games, as for soloQ serpah says he is one of the best top laners right now to carry games and his winrate reflects that
New Xerath is just a bit clunky. Q needs to have that delay when you stop to fire taken out (let him glow brighter if they want to have some type of indicator that he is charging it like Varus has). His W and E are fine as is. R should behave where you click it once to go into the siege mode and once to come out, not clicking R each time you want to fire then clicking where you want to fire.

Would be cool if they made changes that did help him be relevant though. This stuff has been wrong with vlad for quite some time so dunno timing is pretty strange. Then again Liss/Shen have been bugged for what years? Either takes them really really long to fix champion bugs or they only really do it when they have an incentive
Anyway it's cool for vlad whatever the reasoning behind it.
I'm willing to bet the Shen bug is like the minimap bug where people would randomly appear in odd places. It's been around for over two years and Shen is a reasonably high tier pick. Riot probably just has no idea how to reproduce the bug reliably and thus dunno how to fix.
Lissandra is likely low on the priority list since she's never really been relevant since her release. Granted, the bug doesn't help, but I think she has more problems with her kit than just an unreliable ult.
Lissandra was picked for a while in lcs or something by some korean team i think, cant remember. but i know she was picked for a while, her kit is pretty good too tbh. Saying she has shitty initiate is pretty stupid too imo.
i really do believe faker used her in s3 worlds didn't he?
edit...i don't get the xerath hate, but then again i barely played him before rework, i find him incredibly fun, i do think his ult doesn't feel exactly right with his kit, but it's not that bad imo.

I just checked. Dunno if it was Faker, but Lissandra was played a few times at S3 worlds. She did mediocre though. Lissandra saw the most play in EU LCS, but was mediocre/poor in every other region.

I should just ignore people who make conspiracy posts. If someone wants to believe in a giant Rito conspiracy there's really nothing I can do about it. No matter what evidence or reasoning you try to give, there's always something they can twist to make their conspiracy real. Never mind the fact that League is the biggest F2P game in the world, every move Riot makes must clearly be trying to milk every cent out of every player that plays the game.
looks like lissandra murked fools really hard when someone good uses her.
or, alternatively, Lissandra murked fools really hard when she's playing against a completely outclassed team. Faker could've dominated the Gama Bears with freaking AP Sion if he wanted to.
Remember, this is SKT T1 K at their absolute peak against a team that honestly had no business being at the S3 World Championship. Gama Bears are/were, at best, equal to the bottom LCS teams.

i think riot is working on a lot of things, and they were/are still not able to fully support the game, that is painfully clear with how much should be fixed, and how little does actually get fixed.
with that said I do think it makes sense to try to get what fixes you can get done scheduled with cosmetic changes. it's project management 101 honestly.
Still no one has really commented, iceborne gauntlet on syndra, troll or good? I have issues with her mana now due to athenes nerfs, tear is pretty lame to get.
so far i'm 4-0 with this build in gold 2 and it seems to have pretty good synergy with her, obviously you will have less burst, but you get even more utility

I'll agree, but he also utilized her kit fully from all those clips. what if we lived in a world where no one knew lee sin was awesome then "amazing" comes out of the jungle with him and shows what his kit is capable of? idk, i think lissandra is really strong honestly, i have had some super easy lanes against her gold-low diamond, but i have also had ones where i couldn't get ahead at all, and then the teamfights were completely one sided due to her ult being used at the right time.
i think her kit makes her have to play perfectly or be punished, to me she is an all in leblanc.
Champion select pick order is still random right? They released a patch a while ago that based pick order on random not based on ELO, but it seems like people still think that FP is highest ranking and last pick is lowest ranking IDK why.
i talked to shiphtur about lissandra and he said lategame she's like the scariest champ to play because you have to use your body to initiate and also use all your item actives like DFG but if you mess up you just die (circa last split, when he was with coast)
i don't think she's terrible, she's just like "hard to use" and so people prefer easier more reliable options

Cause a lot of people are stupid.Kinda like how there are some people who are completely unknown yet still say shit like "damn why do randoms take my role".
Lissandra is the definition of "meh".Her engage is just too slow for it to be reliable.Maybe if they made her e speed up with movement speed buffs then she could be viable in some teams.
not sure if this is even what you are getting at but when they changed it to random they reinforced their "pick order trumps all for position disputes" when they changed it, which is good imo, because everyone wants to be Mr.Black

it could be that you're just misunderstanding, if people say you're last pick so you're support because you come in saying "ADC ONLY!!!!11!!!!!" we don't mean you're the worst, we just mean you have last pick so you get the role no one else picks ahead of you.
as a sidenote I think if you're dropping a division IE gold V plat V etc 0 points it actually forces you into last pick I had last pick like 6 games in a row, and then I proceeded to get roles I couldn't carry in lol :| vicious cycle

Still salty about Xerath. Fucking bullshit that was. I'm trying so desperately to like his rework, but I just can't get into it. His flavour is gone. Literally the only thing they had to do was adjust his old E and his passive. That was it. Honestly, just giving him a visual/sound upgrade would've sufficed too, but given how crap it is now, I'm not sure Riot could've done that.
Lissandra needs higher base stats as a start IMO. More base move speed, armour and health. She's a short range mage but she sucks in this regard. I do like that Lissandra has many build options though.
@ Iceborne on Syndra. I wouldn't recommend it, purely because I can't think of what you'd leave out of your build for it. Athene's is usually first, then DFG/Deathcap (I normally went DFG), then Void, then DFG/Deathcap. Throw in boots and a defensive item of choice (Banshee's or Guardian Angel. You can get away with Rylai's if you are miles ahead though)
