Even worse, despite him being a glass cannon we were unable to kill him fast (as in Irelia+Ziggs+Leona in the midgame couldn't burst him) because of how absurd the scaling on his W is—I mean the "bonus resistances per champion" part. The idea when applied to champs like Aatrox or J4 can be good, but it's as stupid in game as I called it on paper when I first read the rework. At least a glass cannon WW or Yi dies for example. Granted the game was decided by some ridiculous RNG (in 2 instances, Twitch got 3/3 crits to get me killed under 4s. When I didn't die I was zoning two people by myself), but still, dealing with Rengar before Twitch and Syndra became the bigger threats was boring and disproportionately difficult. We did it rather well at the start (as I said the guy was really bad, like has no idea how to trade apart from facerolling like an all-in) because I would force his ult just to avoid dying, buying some peaceful time for my team, but in teamfights, which are supposed to be a weakness of assassins, we had to keep 3-4 people all curled together just to hope to stop him when he used his ult, not necessarily kill him, while the rest of his team had free reign to position themselves. Add to that the fact that trying our own flank would have been made moot by the way he gives vision to his whole team while getting in position. That's ridiculous as far as resource-pumping goes. | ||

The roots wouldn't stop your moveblock so you could clear a path pretty fast and reduce a lot of the damage because it probably doesn't stack. | ||
