One of the top posts on Reddit now is parroting that and asking for Riot to move Spring Split to allow Western teams to play in OGN. The idea always is that international tournaments will raise the level of play and provide a more compelling competitive scene. However, on what basis do we arrive at that conclusion? StarCraft had the format most near to what people are asking for LoL. Foreigners could go and play in GSL, and GOM made it easier for them to do that. Yet, the Western players didn't magically improve. The playing field was no more level. Instead, Koreans travel all over the world winning tournaments. The NA scene seemingly suffered as a result. Now in LoL we have a similar situation. Any international tournament is dominated by Koreans. Why do we think that sending some teams over to be slaughtered in OGN would be any more fruitful than the foreigners that went to GSL? If anything, I think LCS has shown that each region can host compelling leagues and playoffs without having to force mingling between regions. Seems reasonable to keep things mostly the way they are and have Worlds as essentially the WCG of LoL - where teams can go to be get their kill on Faker and then tweet #worth. Maybe one year another team will upset the Koreans and become like the foreigner legends of BW. --- Having said that, I think there is value in restructuring LCS to give players and teams a more substantial off-season. There is probably also value in having a longer, single-season of LCS to prevent the case of the Spring Split, which is only relevant for relegation and All-Stars. However, I just don't think the scene needs more region elitism, and I don't think international competitions are very compelling (due to stomps), other than EU vs NA. That's such a cop out excuse though. Even if teams like C9 go, it's not like they don't get anything out of it. If anything they still get a couple weeks of solid scrimming with korean teams, that in itself is a huge benefit.

A taste of having a real competitive solo queue and countless of scrim opportunities against teams that would dominate their region. Even the prime teams, or xenics teams will show C9 how far behind the rest of the world is compared to Korea Fixed that for you.

that doesnt make any sense because you don't need to buy wardens mail first to get randuins. Getting giants belt first is far better for your EHP curve, your hp can catch up somewhat with levels, so especially early hp is the strongest stat. im disappointed in your gahlo, with my imaginary mod powers you'd be so fucked

I was just pointing out the interaction cause otherwise it'd be "Fuck Omen, 'Mog time!" Keep mah name out chya Kog'Maw.

Now hes going madred's/spirit stone on EVERYONE. Last night he was building it on Nocturne because he could "abuse mana in the jungle". I was like "WTF ABUSE WHAT MANA? You only have one skill that you use on camps...." Sigh Trick2g...... On a funny note he tried telling me the 20% damage increase on spirit stone is basically a 20% move speed buff. Ugh...

LOL i used to get madreds and spirit stone all the time its not that bad if it suits your gold curve scip hates it though honestly trick is a solid enough jungler, i mean he plays in a selfish way a little too much but it doesnt matter too much watching streams isnt great though, because 99% of the decisions the streamer makes will be off a knowledge and thought process that he doesn't know about at all. the streamer has a feel fo the champion matchups lane position enemy jungle position liklihood of the gank being a kill and how to execute it that all plays toward a play being good. the best way is for him to accept he's bad and just search for solutions to being successful early game equating 20% clear speed with a move speed buff isnt a completely horrible way to think, by increasing clear speed you increase time to gank and the extra hp and mana gives you some compensation for having less stats from items. (700 gold less).
