EPTThis is really the issue. It doesn't matter what 6 FF champs you ban because there's 2 more people can play.

She has her perks, but I feel her range is too poor and most other mid laners grossly outrange her. I can see her being strong against something like Riven and Zed (short range, physical attack) though. | ||

I had a lot of problems in high silver/low gold because (imo) people gave up too easily / threw too often. Now that I am playing with more competent teammates (and opponents) the games actually became a lot easier. Being able heal and then use Astral blessing for the full heal even if the target was ignited is pretty silly. | ||

In fact, it was always retarded, it's just that her late game was countered hard by Ignite, so it was this early game cheese shit. Now the new heal makes her late game just fine, and her season 4 changes make her early game even more retarded. Try playing it like once vs a melee, the entire time you'll be thinking to yourself "Yeah this feels broken I shouldn't be allowed to do this." | ||

I guess that's why she goes mid more, but then she has to deal with more ranged champs. | ||

Previously, she was a lot easier to shut down early-on however since the game has shifted towards a more farm-heavy meta where weak early games matter less, she's just that much stronger. | ||

I've been messing around a fair bit on riven/zed mid, and the number of mid laners who now blindly run scaling health/armour or flat health seals is making level 2-3 pretty amazingly fun :D | ||

Eh, she was seeing LCS play before 4.5 with heal changes. Soraka's always been pretty strong as a solo but meta changes making super early dominators (both jungle and laners) allowed her to be played. Season 4 changes to her scaling helped a bit too. | ||

The sustain gets pretty dumb once you start stacking flare though. I was still utterly smashing squishies (Varus, Nidalee support, LB), almost 5 shotting them if they didn't have any sustain, with only Flare and BotRK. You do as much damage as a champion building full damage, 'cept you get mercs/randuin's (later thornmail) on top of it. My performance in fights was tied to our team too (Lulu, double heal, Vlad's ult increased my damage a bit) so obviously it heavily skews how survivable I was, but you definitely see the impact once it gets to low health fights. 36k damage to champions, 11k magic... yeah, that's not my E. ._. | ||
