AS scales harder than CDR and lots of Nasus kit power goes into Q, FF is a ~5-10 minutes weaker jungle for a beast late game.

What are they nerfing on feral flare?

Imo its not even the damage, its the gold generation. Its like hella cost efficient, and then you get like 20% bonus gold. Its pretty nuts. At the end of the game its like 1k+ gold generated by Feral Flare everygame, while being a damn damn damn good item. That, and it has that like 2000 range ward which is just nuts, if you use that on CD its probably more like 2k gold genrated. (75 gp / 3 minutes, if you have for 30 minutes thats 750 gold).

Its nuts that it is both cost effective and generates gold. I think they shjould just totally scrap the gold generation. if not though, hey more freelo more me and XinZhao.

Feral Flare is basically old Wits End (1800 gold wits end, that was stronger than current 2400 gold wits end) with double stacked HoG gold generation. Its pretty silly.

Uh, before Mundo's health costs got fixed so he could use his spells more his offensive stat was AS, nothing new.
And I think Vi's stronger with Lizard spirit than Flare. She doesn't scale as well as other champs with the items (Yi, Noc, Xin, WW, etc. list is long) so she's going to lose duels anyway, and it doesn't provide her with any stickiness so she's going to get kited and the AS won't help much.

CDR and mana sustain way more important for her, unless the game goes late, and when the game goes late Vi is more of a "I lock a target down, you kill it, then I zone people/use Q to fuck up their divers" anyway.
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

Nasus only has that on a single ability, not auto-attacks/abilities that count as right clicks. Plus he can be punished, the FF jungler can't reliably be punished for going that route, especially if the get Wriggles around 5-6 minute mark because of successful ganks and stack it by 12-14 minutes. And yeah, CDR is much harder to itemize than AS is.

He also gains 6-12 damage to champions per camp (depending on cdr/which camp) as opposed to the 1 from feral. You can't really directly compare them.

I'm curious as to whether the pbe nerf to feral is all they're gonna do, (changing at 30 stacks instead of 25.) Tbh, while it might stop some of the more random feral flare users, I don't see it affecting the junglers who naturally synergise with it anyway and just want to farm.
