I feel the same about Lee Sin.....since 2011....

It's the kit. Kinda the same with Lee Sin and also sorta the same with Thresh (nerfs, nerfs, nerfs, still picked 50% of time).

I think Elise is pretty fun to play. Really high skill cap, but you can make a big difference if you are good.
What I don't like about her is that she is still played too often competitively, thus subject to competitive-targetted nerfs that are totally unfair for a regular player.
|
How's that unfair? If a champion has a high skill cap, then they need to be balanced towards the upper tier of that skill cap.

You are joking right?
The best example is Olaf (pre-rework) - he got gutted because he was deemed way too good for competitive play due to his versatility and safety, even though he never performed that well in soloQ, in all skill levels.

Well, Thresh and Lee get nerfed, but they still have itemization options that aren't totally inferior. Thresh is good with Talisman or Targon, Lee Sin could utilize the SOTLE era. Elise still builds Golem or Wraith when every other jungler was taking advantage of other OP items.
Its like if Ryze was an OP mid for 12 months of patches in spite of eating several nerfs himself and tear/ROA becoming irrelevant and totally outclassed because of buffs to Athenes and Rylias.

I just played with this certain player who I shall not name in a ranked game. In lobby, he kept saying that he does not do adc or support because he does not own any adc/support champion.
Here's his fucking lolking stats.
+ Show Spoiler +
I swear he must be a socialpath or something.

But that was in an era of warmog's armor being heavily OP and having literal meat-walls to tank for you.

In S3, he had the Morgana syndrome - not overwhelmingly good, but extremely safe and versatile in competitive environment due to his ranged, AOE damage Q that is effective in 1v2. But these things were not that useful in soloQ.

How is that relevant...? Obviously Riot made a mistake in that case. Everyone acknowledges that. That has nothing to do with balancing champions for the upper tier of skill level.

does anyone know how accurate op.gg is for mmr? I've won 7 games in a row and it still says im below what i should be for my division

He is a sociopath for telling one very shitty/easily disproven lie?

You are really going to justify what this "morgana syndrome" is. She was a beast in S2 soloqueue, and does basically the same things in Pro/Soloqueue now as a support in S4.

This sucks. I got dc'ed from a game and I can't connect to it. Is this the infamous dc hack? QQ.

He actually did pretty well that game as Caitlyn. I ganked him once, but generally he carried on his own.
In that game, I also missed a penta kill. I had a quadra, but the time between my 4th and 5th kill was 11 seconds, and somehow Riot decided it was not a penta.

The location of the UI may play a role, but I think it's minor. I feel like if thats the case then in Starcraft anyone who spawns on the top part of the map should win less than people who spawn on the bottom part shouldnt it? since ya know the UI is in the way and all. At least in SC2, the minimap is honest about the shitty camera angel by giving you a warped trapezoid of what the camera shows. League gives you a lie of a rectangle.
