This would be fine if Riot would accept that certain metagames favor certain modes of protection, but invariably Riot's response to a particular MR item being frequently bought is that the item is OP and needs to be nerfed--not that it just happens to suit the way the game is being played. | ||

They have their passives, 20 hp5 for SV, and 50 HP for Banshee's for differenciate them, and that's all. 2750 gold, 55 MR, 400+ HP. In this case nerfing the specifics of one (SV's CDR here) will make them so close that it's very easy to have one better than the other in almost all cases. I'd rather have them remove/add HP/MR from one or both, and buff the unique stuff (unique as in specific to the item, not "unique passive") so you have clear cut cases where one or the other shines more. | ||

Though personally I think the change to Veil that made taking damage while the shield was down reset the shield CD to be an awful change. | ||

The 45 regen after taking a hit on Banshees is atm pretty similar to the 20 HP/5 and healing bonus on SV, which is strange to me. People bought SV before because 20% CDR is 20% CDR, but the appeal of the item IMO shouldn't be CDR, it should be that sustained regen. You can't really remove the regen from Banshees just on the grounds that it's awkward when Cowl has the regen and you upgrade it and it suddenly goes away, although if Banshees did get a nerf, the regen is where I'd like to see it hit. | ||

obviously with more mr than SV and less hp too bveil shouldn't give regen at all and im not sure SV should either | ||
