Also hardly anyone plays top anymore? I play all roles and if I am last pick 75% of the time I am put top. Read on Reddit that 10 cs a minute is something you should aim for which is stupid especially as an ADC where you often actively choose between cs and harass. | ||

10 cs is 5 every wave, which is difficult but feasible (unless you're mid and take wolves/wraiths in which case lol). 70 cs by 10 minutes is a more realistic goal for most players, but 10cs/m before accounting for anything else like lane matchups is a good target having to constantly choose between cs and harass is a good indicator of either terrible lane management or incredibly high level thinking | ||

In most games with how common bot camping is 10cs/m happens rarely.If for some reason you don't get camped it is very easy to achieve though. | ||

Also saying "fuck it" and blind picking Jax in Silver with Renekton open. Top seems a lot less popular and support a lot more, not sure if it's enough to reverse the tendency (although it's still rare not to see one person call top at mid-gold from my experience, it's also often "top/mid", "top/jungle", "top/mid/ad" rather than top alone). It's a bit sad that top's perceived as so isolate since atm it feels like it's the most influential lane in terms of flow apart from the jungle (and stuff like one team getting Kassadin). Shyvana vs Renekton is pointed as a boring island match-up, but I think it's actually pretty good for the game currently. The lane itself isn't necessarily spectator-friendly, but on the other hand which one comes out ahead, and if it's Renekton how ahead he is can dictate a lot of the midgame positioning and tactics because of clear difference in power between the two come(s ?) lategame. Because they're typically stronger than the AD carry in the midgame, offlaners don't need to be 5-0 to hold influence, and in the Renek/Shyvana case how behind she is tells you how much time you have before the advantage reverts to her team. I like that it creates clearer timings and shows how ahead a team is. With the current pool of popular AD carries the main difference is whether one of the teams plays Sivir for the mobility/positional plays,because even with Jinx's retarded damage output lategame it still takes awhile to make a difference-again, unless they get fed off kills obviously. I wish teams would assert themselves more strongly if they manage to, for example, get both solo laners to 11 while their counterparts are still 10 and both line-ups are geared toward teamfighting. Usually when you see them pressure in these situations it's not because of the ult power spike but because of the gold lead that's there at the same time. Teams don't really seem good at/keen on funneling farm towards whoever needs the least gold to finish the next impactful item, or stalling a fight/objective till they hit a particular level or item to abuse the spike. That's especially true for champions who can't one-shot waves, and they seem to have 2 modes: clear whichever lane the team is trying to push, and send the most behind member between AD and offlaner to farm a sidelane. So if you're a jungler who can't counter-shove or a support with AoE, it doesn't matter that you can hit that teamfight-changing item and force a fight within 200 gold, they're not going to let you farm that. | ||

Why play someone like that when you can play Wu/Panth/Elise/Lee etc. that don't have to crush early but are still able to if you can do it. | ||
