Ended with a bang as well, enemy botlane used flash/barrier/exh, maybe 2 flashes to try and get a FB on my support, I just kinda stood there and autoed their leona to death and then chased their ADC and killed her for a double FB, and did it again the next time they tunneled onto my support lol 15/0/1 Varus games feel good 6-4 in placements as well, couple games were my fault, other games things went wrong, couple DCs, I had 2 on my side, and a win from those, still, overall happy about my ranked placement, only need a few wins to get into a silver 2 series, so looking forward to that once things settle down ^^ | ||

but, interesting development to counter 2v1, is solo laner does small jungle camps til level 2, then heads into lane. Oh well, that solution is dead since they changed turrets this patch. | ||

I thought people did that last Split as well and then stopped since teams started fast pushing towers to punish the sololaner who went to do the camps? | ||

I don't remember doing it to the same extent, from last split, and haven't watched too much of recent OGN. So it's fairly new to me. don't read, lcs spoiler + Show Spoiler + Zionspartan did it to the extent of getting level 2 and like 1 cs away from level 3. | ||

Can't just 2v1 whenever you have a losing matchup (like Vayne vs Cait) on a whim to just even it out. There's actual opportunity cost now. | ||

They have been doing this since OGN group stages. It doesn't fix much because most of the good early 2v1 champs are also decent early in the jungle so it doesn't expand the available pools. Moreover, it increases the fog of war gambling, because if you get spotted doing that the Duo Lane can fashpush, and you lose so much EXP to turret that you are even further behind. | ||

I don't think 2v1s have been overnerfed, but instead moved from "do it basically every game in competitive" to "do it strategically when we absolutely need to/are willing to trade an early outer turret and possibly inner for it", but this is a case where it is "better" to overshoot than undershoot with nerfs. | ||
