Olaf beats Vlad too, in a way similar to Mundo ('cept with the slow nerf it's way harder to catch up to him and you get oom faster than Mundo kills himself so having to Q more to get in range makes it easier for Vlad to reach turret, and for you to kill him). Which is fine by me because even with Irelia I still manage to lose to Vlad. >_>
As for AP Teemo he can duel AD carries easily just because of his damage output and how insanely powerful a blind is (it's like a stun for all intents and purposes save for escapes, and like silences because it's not as "absolute" in the average case it's compensated with a longer duration) so I tend to just see him as an assassin in fights: he flanks and 3-shot your AD without taking damage, and then you're one down with a huge dps machine in your back planting shrooms.

I'm pretty sure Vladimir beats Olaf. He can never really E you, unless you over commit to prolonged trades and don't back off if/when you get hit by his axe.

Iirc nightblue started to really earn attention when oddone sent his viewers to his stream I kind of mentioned this before, but I find it annoying that nightblue3 tries too hard on stream. He also rages pretty hard when he loses (although in a deceptive way). Why does it bother you that someone is actually trying hard to win games, and is upset when they lose? It bothers me when he would accuse his opponents of ghosting him as an excuse for losing. EDIT let me elaborate. I think the issue is that he was top 3 challenger last year and he has this expectation that he can do so again this year. So far he is not there yet so he is raging pretty hard about this.... in a deceptive way. It's kind of like that rager video on reddit on the other way. Some ADC player raged really hard on stream and ragequitted only because his jungler took his kill and he died (without getting the reset) as Jinx. He was apparently Diamond 5 in that game failing his promotion; last season he was Diamond 1.
That makes more sense. I don't really watch his stream so under the pretense of trying hard to win/being upset when losing; that just seems normal. But yeah, if he's coughing up shitty excuses because he thinks hes better than what he's at right now, that would bother me too

every time i watched this nightblue guy, he was on a smurf playing against silver people.
I find that boring and think Riot should maybe look a bit closer at the 10 smurf accounts the streamers claim to be their own. But it gets them tons of viewers that want to see how to "climb out of elo hell".
Another example is wingsofdeath got one of his smurfs banned recently. First he said it was his account and he never did anything wrong with it, but then a bit later he didnt think about what he was saying and accidentally mentioned that this account was given to him by someone.

Which is different from elo boosting

IMO Riot should be banning accounts any time a streamer tries to do that, but that's just me. I feel like the integrity of the ranking system is more important than the popularity of the streamers.
I agree 100%. There is no educational mindset, it's just a really good player beating on baddies for viewers.

And he has given reasoning for his accusation of why he thinks they are ghosting.
I actually think Nightblue is one of the few people who admits to his own mistakes and tries to improve so I don't really know where you're getting this idea of him making excuses all the time. Maybe you've just caught him on a bad day? I don't know.

It's a complicated topic though. On a philosophical level, yes, but stream views probably have more impact on Riot's numbers.

I can connect but can't play ranked, is that intented?

Yes, EUW went ape shit again.

Strange coincidence, Battle net just went down too.

I have this feeling that some boring anon-wannabe group is at it again. God, why don't they just all-out terrorize the world instead of cyber-webs >_>

Or, OR... Maybe the nuclear war has started.
Anyone else ever think that whenever the servers go down?

I like to believe that they had a choice between paying to fix EUW or paying for riv.

It's a complicated topic though. It's actually pretty rare to see pro players actually playing from Bronze to Diamond. Most of the time, it's the non-pro, but high ELO streamers that do the whole bronze to diamond route (since it's easy viewer grabs).

Which is where my concerns about the slow nerfs came from. I haven't played the match-up since, but before that any time you Q Vlad and run at him he may Q you but he'll have to run away as you close on the axe for fear of getting another to the face. Plus once you're in melee range he's going to get chain-Q'd and hit autos and a E (since you max Q you won't be able to get enough autos to get off a second one).
However, with the slow nerf you need at least one more axe to get to him, which is easily 300+ units, and even with the long lane it really helps your opponents get to their tower faster. Plus there is the issue that Olaf will get oom faster this way (having to Q more for the same amount of damage, roughly), lowering his threat, and that you can't ever not pick up the axe versus Vlad because if that happens you basically tell him "hey buddy, you've got 8s to heal yourself and push and harass" and once he has revolver it's more than enough for him to heal all the damage you spent a third of your mana pool on, while pushing the wave you can't push yourself without spending some more mana.
I haven't played the match-up enough to know if the differences in damage (and mana expended) make it impossible for Olaf to get a big advantage on Vlad, or damage him enough to get kills.
At the level I'm playing at it's still enough tho. Works on Nidalee in a similar way, despite her superior mobility, and you slowly grind her (then the wave gets close to her tower and it becomes hard to harass her meaningfully; if she's not building AP you can use good ward coverage and keep playing aggressively to run her oom from heals, but I assume a better player would rely 100% on human form to last hit at tower while denying you harass opportunities, and wait for ganks/pressure relief).
