IMO Riot should be banning accounts any time a streamer tries to do that, but that's just me. I feel like the integrity of the ranking system is more important than the popularity of the streamers.
It's a complicated topic though. It's actually pretty rare to see pro players actually playing from Bronze to Diamond. Most of the time, it's the non-pro, but high ELO streamers that do the whole bronze to diamond route (since it's easy viewer grabs).
I'd put people like that under the umbrella of "professional players". They make money from playing the game, it's just not through LCS.

BoxBox is by far the biggest offender of that, seriously every time he's streaming he's in silver and all his "highlight reals" is outplaying gold leaguers with riven.

Well she is. She's just not playing the game everyone thinks she's playing.

Everytime I watch Robert, he buys a Zhonyas on his ADC.
Vayne? Zhonyas.

Professional streamer would be more accurate IMO.

Vayne? Zhonyas. There is some basis to ADC zhonyas, sort of but it's mostly robertxlee screwing around (Though you can find some advocates for ADC zhonyas if you look around)

It's Europe, the EU champions have unions protecting their right to take breaks.

Is it me or was self-cast changed?
It seems to me that when I use self-cast while my cursor is on a different, valid target, I will cast on that target instead of self-casting. Was it always like that?

Keep in mind that most of the time when a pro player is smurfing, it's because que times are 30-60 minutes long and it's generally a horrible viewing experience.

That only applys to a very small amount of players (like wildturtle).
The vast majority of streamers that smurf do it to look good to their stream and get more viewers. Its harder to look like a god playing vs people your level.

Why dont people play Morgana Support?
I dont get it.
Leona and Thresh and those guys all super popular. So long as your AD not an idiot its like free lane win. All their stuff useless.
Hell, even against Blitzcrank, not another support I'd want. You see that super telegraphed hook? Cool, it useless.
Then lategame, you press R, and when they focus you you Zhonya and autowin.
That being said, you lose pretty hard to like Sona, Zyra, Annie.

Why wouldn't I be serious?
If you're a challenger level player and you're purposefully playing in Silver ELO to get stream views from stomping new players?
Yes, that should be bannable. I'd like to see you argue how that's different from ELO boosting or intentional griefing.
