I think there are legitimate uses of smurfs by high level players, which is why it's complicated. But I think those uses mostly revolve around privacy and streaming yourself on the smurf account by and large turns it from a legitimate use into griefing other people. Just my opinion. | ||

vs. 100 MR I'm doing 71.37% damage with 3 points hybrid pen, 70.72% damage with 2 points. That's a difference of 13 damage. So in this situation in order for 1 point of Archmage to be better I'd need about 200% AP ratio on my skill combo. That's fairly common. Again, it's going to depend on the scenario (and enemy MR), but my bullshit numbers I think are conservative for a 6 item AP caster, so I imagine if you plugged in real champion numbers you'd find that at full build Archmage is probably adding more damage. Obviously not as good in the early/mid game, though. | ||
