I kinda hope this conversation stops soon, since it's so cyclical, but he already said that trying to copy the best (metagame, etc.) doesn't make you the best. It will at the best only ever make you come second. Additionally, Qtpie actually has quite a bit of drive and motivation, despite what his manner would suggest.

Just saying that generally, watching the best players should help you play better.

That's absurd. The way you learn is from studying the best.

Even if you don't want to learn from the best, the Koreans, if your opponents are those that learn and use the Korean tactic, you still have to start to learn to counter it, and the best way is learning from Koreans. But well, since Dignitas' goal for LoL is to not win LCS, but to not dropping off LCS, I guess that's enough

I'd almost rather read about gp5 or what runes to buy. Jesus.

It's not like practicing 8 hours a day is productive anyways; I don't see why Dig's manager doesn't just organise a Korean lol game analysis or analysis of streamf for 1-2 hours a day.

Worth mentioning that in his AMA last week, Alex Ich gave the ADC nod to CandyPanda over Rekkles for best current ADC in EU. Not that I agree (or disagree) with Alex 100% but it's something to note coming from one of the best mids in EU. CP is fine, QT is fine. The problem is neither has dominated, or even approached dominating botlanes in regions where the botlane is not considered elite. Then they went on to give interviews to Thorin that no objective observer could say were anything but arrogant (you could be charitable to QT and say he was trolling, I guess). That would be like me saying, "Well, I win 60% of my cases here in Illinois, no need to see what is going on in NY, CA, or DC."
I don't agree at all with your assesment of Candypanda, he carried really hard in basically every game SK won last year, which is especially impressive considering the FotM mids in the summer split (fed assasins exploit adc even moreso than their lane opponent late game). Him having to deal mid being lost was a forgone conclusion since basically IEM Kiev in 2012 and still managing to be an impact adc in a lot of his games says a lot about him as a player as opposed to say Reckless who while good can afford to fuck up some games because his team is so good.

SPOILERS: he's already posted twice on the subject, in this thread.

Decent change IMO. Only really affected smurf accounts(hello 90%winrate over first 20 games) anyways, or the odd case of ridiculously bad placement. To have MMR a full tier above your LP takes an incredible difference.
QTpie not wanting to watch OGN because he wants to remain thinking that he's at the top is a legitimate excuse, but at the same time, NA will NEVER reach the level of even some of the A-tier KR teams without some serious attitude and regime changes. While winning NA is nice and all, you need to be able to win against the best.

RIP Zdra bronze shenanigans.
Also:
Random playtest story from the other day: We were playtesting some possible changes to Shaco's ult last week as part of his rework that involved Shaco firing a missile that he and his clone then split out of once it reached its destination (similar functionality to the current ult, bit more control over placement basically). The enemy team had a Yasuo however, and so, mid teamfight, Shaco ults and then Yasuo windwalls, destroying the missile in mid flight. Since this was an experimental change we hadn't accounted for that interaction and so, when the missile was destroyed by the wall, Shaco went with it, never reappearing. Whole group of playtesters broke into applause/laughter once we realized what had happened. TLDR: Yasuo literally deleted Shaco from that game. Riot grants your wishes. But in playtests only.
(inb4 Lee's 2nd Q makes him into a projectile to please Cheep.)
From the Vel'Koz teasers it appears that Lissandra won the Frejold event. But... where did they announce it? I remember asking myself who won because there never was a news item about it, or anything in the client, etc. And for this one icons' contest Tryndamere is winning in Europe, means we won't have an ugly-ass horse head on our Diana icon, I'll take it any day. Although the prospect of seeing NA choose Truth over Freedom is somewhat amusing.

I'm just wondering if Yasuo jungle is viable. I've found a few guides on Yasuo jungle today and I'm thinking of giving it a shoot.

Sounds as viable as Yi jungle, but with more unreliable gank/engage Can work incredibly well with gragas(you can ult so long as gragas barrel grazes the opponent, which 9/10 times, assuming a competent player, it will, even with flash, and they'll be locked without getting knocked back. Sticking yasuo in a lane is probably still infinitely better though, simply because of how strong his item timings are.

honestly I think all pros should watch all regions. learning from others is never a bad thing - can only be good. That said, I'm sure Dig's analyst watches the Korean/EU/CHN scenes and lets the other members of Dig know what's good and bad so it's probably not as big a deal as some people are making it out to be.

NA/EU teams don't even scrim eachother to my knowledge and NA cried about not having enough good teams in NA to play so that's why they were bad. Doesn't really make sense to me coming from Dota background where NA/EU always played with eachother and even formed teams together.
