Jungle monsters grant 50% bonus XP per level to lower-level champions, up to a cap It's supposed to help junglers catch up, but what it means is by midgame, the most efficient person to have farming jungle is the support because they're getting 50% bonus XP per level for free just by being lower level. Given how Relic Shield can still be fully utilized even if you're only sometimes in lanes, and Golem Spirit can be fully utilized even if you're only sometimes farming jungle, it could actually be very realistic. Why the hell did they think it was too hard for junglers to get back in the game anyway? <_< Brutal. All that change does for junglers is reduce jungler skill gap, as far as I am concerned. Unless they massively changed gold generation. Because people don't like to be 4-5 levels behind everybody while being expected to tank shit because they had a poor start. Okay, but is falling behind because you got outplayed really a bad thing? I dunno, I think its ridiculous. Its no fun to lane against an assassin, get behind, get no farm, and die on Ult CD either, but thats still in the game.
If you get behind just do jungle camps, problem solved.

how does making dicking around viable remove that interaction from the game you still need to be strong enough to defend your buffs and to defend dragons and to countergank, so you have to strike the perfect balance between dicking around farming

I don't think they'll be anymore "full supports". Just played a few games where the supports seemed to have a crapton of items out of nowhere. Last game I played was a support lux and 25 mins into the game, it felt just the same as a regular mid lane lux.
I'm not feeling these changes. On top of the excess gold, the trinkets seem kind of lame to me. The vision battle before was fine, why change that?
Yeah, one concern I have about people maxing out on items more often is that champs like Nasus will have an even larger comparative advantage since they can keep scaling beyond the level 18/6 item limit. Also you can't shut Nasus down XP-wise in the jungle anymore, and god forbid Nasus support becomes a thing.
I hate Nasus, just in case you couldn't tell.
But now I must try support Nasus anyway.

The Eve player would be happy about not being able to be significantly counter jungled.
-.-
Ignore me, I just QQing because I need to relearn how to play all of my main positions because my styles and champions no longer close to optimum.

Holy crap I wish they left off the new item icons for a patch or 2. Adapting to all the new items in the shop is tough but then they go and totally overhaul all the pictures anyway and I'm just lost. Feels like it would be so much easier to adapt to these new support items if I still had my old reference points. Instead I have to hover over and investigate everything every time.

Also, this patch is like a dream patch for Lovelin.
Support player turned jungler that made a jungle style out of never actually farming jungle and ganking/camping lanes. No matter what direction S4 goes in from here, Lovelin wins.

OR you farm super quickly in order to murder all those people who dick around like 30s before they decide to catch up with so much vision avaliable to you it might even be a good idea the +gold item supports get for junglers is a cool idea but in order to minmax you shouldn't steal any of your laners creep xp
maybe there are some ways to tell what jungle path the nemey took according to how much exp you get from camps? could be interesting

I just had the hilarious image of a jungler that's like 4 levels down getting help on blue with it leashed for him and instantly gaining 2 levels from 1 camp.
Practically speaking it's probably not worth getting that far behind, but still funny to think about.

Yea Sunfire Cape, Morello's, and Health Crystal had me look 3 times to make sure I bought the right item.
And I the only one (as an avid support player) who actually doesn't like this ridiculous flow of income??? I feel encouraged to buy major items now, but what if I want to just get wards/oracles, and slowly creep up to 1 major items (Locket/Reverie/ etc.)?

I just feel upset in general.

I like the new support for leona i got warmogs and another giants belt. With the shield item that gives your heath heath stacking is sick.

thoughts about junglers I tried Taric - too weak at first, bad ganks, overall pretty weak in jungle Elise - the only jungler who can do the wight camp quickly without losing too much hp, fast farm Eve - nobody buys pinks because you have to get the +gold item, huehue, broken as fk because Skarner - still weakish lategame after ppl get QSS, don't like him that much.
I played super farm style tho (usually was the highest level in game/team), all ranked5s
yango, your sense of humour is shit
I actually like damage Eve because now there is enough gold in the jungle if you farm enough (and NO there wasnt enough gold before DURR, get back to luxemburg you rich dood)

I prefer the old hard support style but I'll accept we're a pretty small minority. Besides if I decide I just want to be a hard support again I'll go mess some kids up on my Venomancer.

The thing is, losing lane is essentially moot now.
If your team only loses one or two lanes, then the champ can just go into the jungle for 5 minutes, get mad XP and be fine.
I enjoyed playing as a low income support as well where I had to really think about buying stuff, and then went all oAo when I had really good games and had more gold than I knew what to do with.

solo laners still will be ahead of the curve mostly, so them going into the jungle doesnt make much sense losing lane still matters a lot

sounds like something that will make my bamboozle-o-meter crash whenever I visit this thread 2-3 weeks after release
What I mean is, Aatrox isn't broken at all and people in this thread aren't sorry and feeling guilty enough for being SO fking wrong

Instead, he has a resource that gives him a shield.
