Edit: Not that I think that is a role that is easy to fill. In which case they need to do a smattering of both and definitely get Spellblade in. You want this? http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Moonflair_Spellblade ? I wouldn't mind it existing in some form, but its components are too efficient for Summoners Rift right now. IDK how to fix that. On the other hand, there really aren't that many good hybrid items for Riven either, and she has managed. Unlike Riven, however she is basically the Malphite-Fizz Bridge (two fairly balanced characters) as opposed to being the Garen-Zed Bridge like Riven and Rengar. So she probably just needs minor tweaks, and not an entire item. Well, yeah, spellblade has a bit too much going for it. Maybe make it melee only. Could easily toss an extra 280 onto the combine to make it an even 1k(2880 total.) Yeah, the price would be steep to combine, but there's no denying the versatility of the item and it would leave a nice breakpoint to opt into other items(Zhonya's/Abyssal/Athenes).

I'm not particularly surprised.
Whole Korean game is like gogogogo aggression. Whole patch is like staystaystaystay turtles and hope other team is derpier lategame.
Much harder to exploit gold leads in 3.14 than previously, because the larger gold flow makes the gap become irelevant much much faster.

Wat? She's just fine - apart from Singed I think she's the champion I'm picking the most right now, you just can't really fp her.
Edit: She's not a top-tier pick-in-all-situations champion, but if you can play her and you like her you can play her at all levels of play..
Edit2: As far as matchups go there are quite a few GOOD ones actually. For top lane I'd say Jax, Singed, Shen, Olaf and Nasus (this one is a bit different - if you get one kill you can snowball hard, but if you're just winning in farm you probably "lost" the lane) should all be winning matchups. For mid lane she has a lot of even matchups, but she beats stuff like Ziggs, Lux, Nidalee. Kassadin and Fizz are also winning matchups but can be easily swayed by ganks.

This is an interesting way to think about champion roles, it makes me want to see some kind of complete role continuum including every champion. I guess it may end up more like the triangle you showed earlier though with several dimensions and in a loop. How else do you think about the game? I can't do it any other way really.
And gahlo, I like that item in spirit, but it doesn't fit well into the Riot system. They don't even have a legit AD+armor item, and only one selfish mr+ar item. We might not agree with the style of balance, but its how they do it.

imo, s4 has stabilized a lot with relic change. Doesn't feel as volatile (meta wise anyways). I assume play will increase when it's been even more established

The problem with akali mid is serious lack of waveclear.

Translate pls. My chinese is good for short articles/phrases. A page of chinese would take me hours to read/decipher, especially since it's simplified.
Haven't had time to play very many games the last few weeks with all the projects and whatnot coming due, finally off to study for exams as of today(3 weeks of nonstop 10+hour days really takes a toll). I still stand by my opinion that S4 is taking LoL in a direction I don't like, and is probably bad in the long run.
I'll wait and see what the koreans are doing though. Should be entertaining at least.

Also leaves you energy starved(vulnerable).

To my untrained eye, I feel like the reason why Moonflair is so good is because it's so gold efficient even without the Tenacity passive. If you want to make it SR viable, make it's current cost the same (2600) but remove the Negatron Cloak and use a Null-Magic Mantle as part of the build path, with the full item of +50 AP, +50 Armor and MR be +50 AP, +50 armor and +30 MR.

I'm fairly excited about this as I think the games will be amazing. I know people like to discount the lesser teams, but I feel like vVv have a real chance here. I remember their Roccat KOTH games against Quantic which were very close. I hope they can keep things/ their morale up, because they have a real chance to pull an "upset" on the other more recognized teams. coL have had huge team issues, and I don't consider them to have much of a chance. This opens up the field for a few teams.

What is the line up of Complexity for this promo groupstage?

Pretty much. Run spellvamp quints and just get as many 2nd q procs off on creeps as possible - use your shroud wisely to try to get some leeway pre-6.
@Wei2coolman Her waveclear really isn't a problem unless she's getting zoned and that's only a factor pre-6 (when waveclear doesn't really matter as much cuz roaming is minimal and Akali is great at last-hitting at tower).

That's part of the problem for me. No idea who the new line up is. They dropped their mid player(Pr0lly), and their jungle(Laut) also left. So they have 2 weeks to essentially create a brand new team. That seems like an impossible task.

The WE drama LOL, ESPORTS at its finest.

seriously, anyone who hasn't tried it, run max cdr zilean for probably the most fun you will ever have
always zoom, always bomb, ult on 30s cooldown

Rammus' taunt and Fiddle's fear changed on PBE, flat mana cost (the level 1 one) and duration changed to 1.3 -> 2.3 instead of 1 -> 3. TL;DR Rmamus and Fiddle longer cc level 1, same duration level 2, nerfed up to 25% after that.
I've really got a problem with the scope of Riot's changes. When they nerfed WW they took 20% damage off his Q. Nautilus lost 23% damage on his W, ow they take ~25% off two defining cc abilities without any other compensations than "yay mana buffs" (their ults are dropped to flat 100 mana too).
(Then again when Nautilus has a few specific spots where he can pass through walls they patch it out, whereas when Riven has few specific spots nd circumstances where she can pass through walls they reinforce it and make it pretty much universal. I wonder who needed help the most.)

Strictly speaking for SR, it's because it builds out of the same item as zhonya's hourglass. If that wasn't the case, it would be legit and a strong purchase for many champions.
