my thoughts after playing 1 game of shyv jangle
-spirit of golem is good
-like, really good, conservation is objectively the best passive on a jungle item in the game right now
-wriggles on the other hand is pretty shit outside of playing a jungler who just trying to power clear/farm 24/7, because you're gonna need to farm a lot to get that gold back, and if you do that in solo queue most players will just be like "report __ no ganks and thinks he can still carry from jungle gg"
-if you have to get wriggles, don't, get avarice blade or something, at least it builds into remotely useful items
-junglers who are not lee sin have no excuse not to take the sweeper trinket in solo queue
-wight camp position is dumb as fuck, at least on purple side
-offensive masteries are near the bottom of the barrel top to bottom for jungle, 9/21/0 is even a stretch, at this point you can literally go 7/23/0 or 4/23/3 (for the ms boost) and not lose much in terms of clearing power if you're a champ like shyvana or anyone with aoe clear
-the amount of laners who buy a trinket and then don't use it is TOO DAMN HIGH

also eve, shaco, rengar jungles will be broken as all hell

I don't think Shaco would be that much of a problem: he can't stand in lane like Eve does, nor he can bypass wards if he ignores where they are. As such, he forces you to play defensively, but as long as you don't fuck up you can still get out when you see the orange puff of smoke.

Also, Soraka can hard counter some assassins. If you can get an E in the silence totally dumps on their combo. Works well if you put Trist or some other farm/safe AD mid and throw a mana hungry AP with Soraka duo bot lane. Been playing around with it in ranked since end of season, so much rage from enemy bot lanes. They did, it's called Frenzy and its at the top of the Offensive tree. Isn't Frenzy on crits? Weren't the champs with base AS nerfs all ADCs?

Making Zac lane and jungle pages, with the removal of the tier 3 mpen, I don't see a reason to not put all points into Defense aside from Butcher/Feast for jungle. The only other useful picks in Offense are CDR and maybe Expose Weakness for the team, but I don't see a reason to go 9 deep at all.

I feel like wriggles is definitely the way to go if you get a kill or two early, to stay ahead.

feast is a pretty bad mastery, butcher is worthless on Zac. Should probably go for the 5% cdr honestly

Not that I've done anything more than glance at the new mastery pages but I'm intrigued since some people previously posted ideas for a Leona page, which I am interested in.

Expose Weakness may not be worth but it sounds awesome in teamfights when you land your ult or shield goes off on a lot of people. It doesn't feel to bad to get 5% cdr on the way there either. The rest is just be as tanky as possible for more disruption.

overall i really like this patch, i think riot fixed so many things, and im glad they nerfed supports cause before they were all op as shit, except soraka who still blows

i think the CD on the red trinket is a bit too much  overall i like the change on the vision. The blue trinket is meh

To those who jungled, how does Smite impact the first clear? Do you still hit 3 off both buff camps? What's the difficulty of the Wight? Looks like it'd be a major pain in the ass to kill him with Smite down, just because of his high HP pool.

need to clear 1 camp plus buffs to get 3, probably want to do red -> wraiths on blue side or blue -> wraiths on purple; the wight is actually really hard to kill, its pretty hard to kill and hurts a ton esp. early on.

Would you even build Elder Lizard on anyone other than like...jungle Kha'zix, jungle Zed, and other people who will probably never see competitive jungle again? I mean, I know that Wriggle's is bad but even Wriggle's might be better than Elder Lizard on the "melee carry" jungler such as Yi or Trynd.

Has anyone tried double bruiser bot lane or Leona/J4 yet? Seems legit since you can both grab Relic Shield and farm up and ward together.

Can you smite the first buff, and have it up again in time for the second?
It felt like I could on eve going blue -> wraiths -> red (smited blue right as it spawned, cus my top didn't want to help) but I might have messed up somewhere.
Could help mask where you've started on a lot of junglers (or allow more sneaky bush based first bloods) as your bot/top lane no longer need to help kill the buff and can be in lane from the start.

Wouldn't Ancient Golem usually be better on both of them? Like if you jungle Kha or Zed you're going to build Elder Lizard over the other three options every single game. I feel like it's kinda rare that you'd build it on those two but I also don't play a ton of Vi/Olaf.
