Edit: Oh, also Zed and Nasus, probably.
Nasus will suck in 1v1. Why would anyone pick Nasus? No time to farm your q, your kill potential is like zero for the longest time. I don't see why anyone would pick Sivir over Quinn or Draven. Ricochet is a glorious autoreset in a 1v1 situation, and her ult does almost nothing other than make her move really fast.
I don't think anyone will pick Heimer as is either. His ability to secure kills is quite poor, and its easy to kill his turrets early. Can't even last hit that effectively since turrets make that a chore. I guess if you want to kill their tower it might work out? I have a hard time seeing it.
Old Heimer would have been a god though.

I know which ADC I'm going to play in a 1v1 scenario.

I was thinking Nasus and Heimer for being immovable and pushy as opposed to their dueling strength. Same with Sivir, though the mana for W might be a problem.

From what I've read on all your comments of Heimer, it's clear to me that you're doing something wrong.
Yes, his turrets are squishy. I've made the comment that this is one thing that bugs me about him. But he is incredibly safe and pushes hard and has a bunch of potential rooted in his kit.

I think you severely overrate how strong pushing will be (and the effectiveness of the mentioned champions at pushing).
And you could just pick Caitlyn and do a way better job of that. But Cait will probably be perma-ban.

1v1 Blind Pick is literally not worth playing. 1v1 Draft Mode makes more sense.
If 1v1 queue is only Blind Pick, it's going to suck.

At least there will finally be a queue where I can finally avoid Kassadin <3

way late to the discussion but wow ahri is so gutted

Unlike you guys I'm not sure if I will play the 1v1 maps but hopefully they won't increase my 5v5 queue times.

I've played against Heimers, I laugh when they tickle me with rockets and kill them early repeatedly because they have no damage.
Granted this is on Twisted Treeline because I'm trying to help my friends get gold, but honestly.. Heimer's threat at level 1-3 (even up to 6) is close to 0. This is a way bigger deal than anyone makes it out to be. What can he do to you? He maxes turrets, you engage when you want to, he has nothing to keep you in a fight. He maxes rockets, he has no pushing power and his poke is still paltry.
If I can kill his turrets with one auto and pretty much any line nuke, he has almost no pushing power for the early levels
If I were a jungling I'd be camping the crap out of him, he offers almost nothing to a 2v2 fight early. Not related to 1v1s, but meh.

PBE Report:
Of the revamped jungle items, Spirit of the Ancient Golem is the most OP. The Conservation Passive stacks once per second, up to 90 stacks total. When you kill a large/epic monster you consume up to 30 stacks gaining 1 gold per stack.
However, it basically takes 10 seconds to travel to a new camp and kill it, meaning that Conservation is just as good as the passives on Elder Lizard and Spectral Wraith when straight up farming the jungle.
So Conservation is better when camping/ganking and equal when farming. Welp.

You're playing against retarded Heimers.
The fact that you think his turrets complicate last hitting shows that.
And you're judging Heimer on 3v3 which is bruiser heaven, so your argument carries no weight. Most mages struggle unless they can kite really well or are able to do enough damage to stay relevant while building tanky.

alternatively you play as if theres still jungler involved whiel the other guy doesnt and he gets to stomp you cause he gets to overextend like crazy and not get punished in which case you dont learn anything anyways other than "lol if this was a real game my jungler wouldve collected so many free kills already"
and since it will be a queue you bet everyone will be playign for dat W so the vast majority will be overextending and overpushing and playing stupid 1v1 heroes lol Doesn't have to practice for 5's, just practice mechanics.

Mechanics get wildly skewed when you don't have to worry about a jungler.
There are certain mechanics that benefit from 1v1s (last hitting potentially, skill shots), but I've never liked them much cuz you are able to play balls to the wall with no cares in the world.

landing charm was always the 'go' button for whether ahri comboes (full all in or just q/w) a single target, so the changes aren't too big in that regard...but she's noticeably weaker in situations with more than 1 target. which i suppose is exactly what was intended - to keep her assassin strengths while making her worse at everything else. i just don't think the nerfs were necessary, especially when the broader game is being massively reshuffled at the same time

thanks, some esports action though millenium is getting shat on
