anyone had problems with the preseason ranked matchmaking? I don't know if it's just a coincidence or what, but I just had 2 straight games that were the biggest mismatches I've ever seen (1 game mid gave up 8 kills by 10 mins, bot gave up 12 by 10 mins and top just sat at his tower all game, the other was 6 kills by 7 mins mid and a dc) I'm gonna play one more game to see if it's another really 1 sided stomp, if it is I might not use Matchmaking till the new season roles out if the MM is really screwy for some reason

Why don't more people pick Nasus into Shyvana (jungle particularly)? It has seemed to work for me a bunch of times today since I really don't like playing Nunu jungle that much, and he is the only other "counter" to Shy Jungle that I know of.

Is this Ranked after it came back up, or Normals while it was down?

a lot of players play one or the other so their mmr for the opposite is screwy, if it was after ranked was back up idk but I have no had your problem no.

The Link Grilled is pretty interesting, and he hits on why I think League of Legends' f2p format is actually poor for a competitive format, since there's essentially an entrance barrier for new players.

Is anyone else worried that S4 will be a really boring boring game for junglers?

With everyone getting a ward for free at all times, and with the additional camps... I can honestly see it just being silly. Only junglers that can put out any pressure with every single exit to their jungle being covered are Evelynn and Shaco without using a ton of Mana/time to bypass wards. Even like Zac/Aatrox/Lee/Vi/J4, thats a solid 40+ seconds of CD time and for some half their mana bar to bypass a ward. What kind of garbage tier players are in derpy easy to gank scenarios for that long?

Aside from that I guess maybe Kha'Zix/Rengar/Nocturne/Panth/Fiddles post 6, no one can really gank unless your support is a Thresh.

I dont even think as a Jungler you can really even counterjungle hard anymore with that many wards on the map guaranteed. If the gold gains in Jungle are decent I could just see like straight up Karthus Jungle being a thing. How you going to punish that? Before you could just outhtink them, take their stuff, and keep them sewered without gold. Now it just like... you can't at all unless enemy team is just derpy and isn't putting down their free wards.

Am I overthinking things, or do any other junglers feel shafted? Even if I get way more gold in the game, I feel like my impact as a jungler is considerably lower.

lvl 1-30 is really boring and off putting but at the same time, it protects (moreso than if it didn't exist) the proletarian players from Smurfing. It could most certianly be shortened though.

IDK, she is super FOTM and is not fun for my usual junglers like Jarvan and Amumu. I suck at the Lee, ping too high to do Ward hops consistently.

Probably overthinking it. There is still a significant vision gap when using trinkets and the ward limit will make it so that not every single lane will be entirely safe all game long. Even a lot of the brush changes will help junglers find better ganking paths to avoid wards. People will always find ways to circumvent being seen without needing a stealth or wall jump, just wait for everyone to adjust to the changes and I'm sure you be having as many problems as you're expecting.

Haven't seen much shy jungle personally, but you just play hard ganker and make her teammates cry about why she wasn't there pre 6.

The warding trinket's duration actually isn't very long at all. It's 60 sec until the enemy hits level 9, then it's 90 sec. To upgrade it to a regular ward (or a vision ward), they have to spend 475 gold after hitting level 9 on their trinket. Also, the trinket has a 120 second cooldown, so if they try to cut corners and not buy wards, you'll have plenty of opportunity to punish it. You also have the Sweeper Trinket available to kill wards with if you so choose to take it.

Ranked after it got back up.

Just played my third game since preseason, another really really one sided game. Maybe I just have bad luck though.

That, plus, your counterganks and just straight up ganks are better. Also Nasus just gets really good against people who want to fight you if you dont get crushed too early on. Seems like a SoloQ counter to a SoloQ champ. I just kinda did it randomly and it worked pretty well. So I asked the (likely better) players of TL to pick apart my exp.

Interesting, Doublelift admits he pretty much didn't play solo queue in season 3, but I could have sworn he said in pre-playoff interviews, he said CLG was playing plenty of solo queue after scrims. zzz, I thought Monte would at least whip him into better shape than that.

I really wish it were shorter. 108 wins in classic, 58 in ARAM, and I am still only level 27. I am not sure how many losses I have... but an estimate of like 300ish games just to hit 30? So much! I imagine it is longer so that people buy boosts though.
